I was (had to put WoW on pause for a while) on Moon Guard and Uldum (plus a few others random ones) for a while (Horde on MG, Alliance on Uldum) and the whole guild thing is good for at least participating with others you know you can trust. Pretty much boils down to how much game content you want to experience. Ive done everything (Leveling, Solo, PvP, Raids, RP, Instances), but the thing is that there is always some random a-hole who gets greedy, and messes up the experience for everyone. Ive had that happen to me several times where a guild just dies because someone thinks the guild should be about raids, and then they complain when the raid doesnt go their way. Luckily, the good guilds will immediately boot people like this and do all in their power to keep this from happening.

I'm attempting to play Mabinogi right now because I really like the anime and cel shaded graphics!
I attempted DDO and like it up till I was like level 5 because I hate group questing... such fail >.<
I extremely disliked WoW.
Guildwars would be an amazing game to have a guild on (thus the name) because of the 8 skill bar and the vast amount of combinations that could be applied.
I'd be up for any of the games listed above except WoW

I have Guildwars and I don't see why multiple games couldn't have a guild for aspies on them anyways. I have all the campaigns and the expansion... only thing I am missing is the bonus pack thing that came out a while back.

I had a concept about doing this about 3 or 4 weeks ago, however I had a bit different of an idea, in that instead of it just being for MMOs, why not make it for ALL video games.

I wish to see how we progress compared to the normally nt dominated guilds in mmos

Sounds like a good idea.

I have an idea for tags:
=WPAS=

otherwise, I really do think it should NOT just be MMOs. A lot of people I know hate mmos, and I do too. Personally I suggest the all games idea rather than just one kind of game. The fact is that if this were a conventional squad, I could see one or two games being focused on, however since this is more a community for those of us with AS, I suggest making it more of a universal community, rather than just forcing MMOs. I personally would love to see people ask what those tags mean in ArmA 2 or in DCS Black Shark or in CSS.

I don't mind adopting =WPAS= while playing BF2.

I have a dusty WoW Account with an 80 Tauren Druid and a 17 Undead Rogue on Kargath. I'd be happy to switch servers if you need me too. I wouldn't mind running low levels through instances for gear and stuff either.

I don't play any of those games except for Gaia Online's zOMG! and Team Fortress 2.

I don't play p2p games such as "WoW", etc. I wish EQII & City of Villains were only one fee, I don't like the idea of having to pay each month for a game you already own. :( Anyway, the mmo's I play are Minions of Mirth, well, actually not so much anymore, as there is a lot of drama & problems w/ the owner of the game not following through on things, like fixing the server, putting out the expansion as promised, etc. & lately I am hooked on Jade Dynasty. The only thing is in both games, I am already in guilds, mostly NT, though in MoM, there was a young guy who disclosed to me that he is on the spectrum, but he doesn't play much anymore I guess 'cause of the problems I mentioned and mostly 'cuz he got into the whole "Magic the Gathering" thing. In JD, they are NT, & most of them don't understand when I need help & get frustrated & upset & keep saying, "I can't do this! How do I do this?", etc., although the lady who just took over the lead of the guild tries to be understanding of me. Only thing is she is not on a lot 'cause she has a family & stuff. I wish I could be a high level player & good at these games. In MoM, I only got to the high-ish side mostly from being power leveled. In JD, pretty much the only way to survive is to buy items w/ real money from the Cash Shop, which I call "The Cash Trap". JD is a little like Shaia, but I hated Shaia. I tried Planeshift 'cause it's totally free, but VERY briefly. It was too frustrating for me because it was so buggy (I would be stuck where the next phase of a quest would not progress because of a bug) & there was like pretty much no help or support. One guy tried to help me a little, but it was just not enough. Also I did not know where the heck I was going, there is no ingame map, I think players had to make one or you had to buy one, I don't know.

A few of us are looking at an Aspie Guild on WoW. But others can do what they want on other games too. :)

Unfortunately WoW does not appeal to me, & I don't want to pay every month for a game. I wish ppl would either join me on Jade Dynasty, or get another free game that is fun or something.

LOL

This thread reminds me of trying to organise a WP gathering in real life! :) Some people want to meet in the sun and warmth of the south of europe, others fancy the north, scandinavia, etc while for others it "has" to be in London, but just for the day, and then there's the issue of whether it's going to be in a big exciting city/town with lots to do and see, or somewhere quiet and peaceful and beautiful in the countryside, and then there's people who won't consider travelling for anything smaller than 15, or 35, or even 100 people, and others who won't come to something if there's going to be more than a handful of people. So, last year 8 of us met in Avignon, ( and about the same number of people meet once a month in London for the day, thanks to Lotusblossom ) ... but I don't think that I'm going to try and organise another one-off meet-up!

NB. I think the thing which made the 3-4 day/long weekend Avignon meet-up happen was that one person committed to a meet somewhere that another person could get to no problems, and some others then fell in with that. We were a very mixed bunch! :D

So I suggest that if you want this guild to happen, one at least of you has to commit to joining one other person on the same server of the same game, and continue talking about it so others can join you.

I used to play on Runescape, but never joined a guild; I was a lone explorer type, and liked it that way. :D And I loathed Guild Wars; you can't just go wandering around, in "quests" you have to have a tedious bunch of fake people dancing around you all the time, and the place was sooo empty, way too "tidy" and "organised".
.
