An old 4x Strategy game called Ascendency has some awesome music. All 20 races have their own theme in additon to the theme songs

The race themes are great to listen too all give you a good impression of the kind of species they are. Certainly more imaginative alien species then some fictional universe creations.

+1 for the recent bioware soundtracks. The trailer for ME2 especially was nice with the soundtrack.

But to be honest, my vote will always have to be with...
