I've heard. Ironically, I might actually be better at keeping people from raging In-game than I am actually socializing IRL XD.

The whole MOBA genre just hans't really caught on with me; I'm not sure why- I'm just ono that interested in it, for some reason. And it's not just the people who play them being jerks, a lot of the time when you don't do exactly what they expect you to, either.

I might check out League of Legends sometime, but I'm not sure I'll stick with it for any length of time.

I am interested in Natural Selection 2, though, as well as the other games I listed.

Except you're greatly restricted in what you have access to as a free player, so that takes a lot of the fun out of it. I really hate games that do that, almost as much as I hate pay-to-win games.

OK, but how do people access the test servers? There doesn't appear to be anything labeled 'test server' in the current server list.

its a separate server free digital download https://launch.soe.com/everquest/ heres the link simply click the test installer and youl know how to do the rest.

For some reason, the actual download button for the test client doesn't work. I click it, but it doesn't start downloading or anything. Do I have to register and log in, first, before I can download?

You have to temporarily enable cookies iirc also hit save or open file and the downloading should work after the download is complete you can start your free account. http://www.everquest.com/get-started and http://everquest.allakhazam.com/story.html?story=7128 If you have any trouble still ill go look up on the eq forums with the devs and GMs troubleshooting etc. http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/index ... cher.1911/

I figured it out, but this old laptop can't even handle EQ very well. At least not at a high enough resolution to be able to see anything in the game with all the windows on screen.

Try adjusting the graphics resolutions in the option panel in the launcher it should appear as a little gear on the lower corner on the screen. You can adjust it on there and it should play no prob I'm still using an amd duel core desktop and it runs it like a champ.

Tried it. Adjusted all the graphics settings to their lowest settings, and dropped the resolution down to 640x480, and it worked fine; but any higher quality or too much larger a resolution than that, and it starts to lag really badly. It might be in part because I'm running a VGA connection from my laptop to an external 24" monitor; external VGA connections have been known to be unstable or de-synced, sometimes. I may go back and try experimenting with different graphics settings while using the laptop screen itself, but I'm not sure I want to spend more time mucking with video settings right away.

I don't play any of these games, and yet if it was for WP, I'd probably sign up.

A WP gaming webpage would be good.

Take your time working the bugs out and if your able to log on pm me on EQ they have a turtorial for beginners but you can use tha throne of heros aa and gate out and then /testbuff and it instantly gears you up and lvls you up to lvl 25!

I just got Unreal Tournament (UT99) back up and running on this old laptop, and I found that the online multiplayer still works, to my surprise. Anyone else have it installed (or is willing to reinstall it) and would be interested in a skirmish, sometime?
