Interesting position! You are attacking and I am attacking. I believe (or at least hope) that my attack is stronger because I have a lead in development.

My assessment is that your attack has nothing to aim at while mine does. I believe I have a few long-term advantages that will be more significant once I catch up in development. I think you need to find something good in the next couple of moves to avoid being at a disadvantage. As the next few moves seem critical I look forward to seeing how you demonstrate that development advantage in a meaningful way. I hope you are right as it will be instructive for me!

I think that I am about to experience an onslaught. However, I also believe that when the smoke clears, my advantage in development will tell. My knight on e2 is now ready to participate with a king's side assault.* Unfortunately (for me) that is a few moves into the future. For now all I have to do is hunker down.
* Of course you can choose to not o-o and leave your king in the middle of the board. However, a king on e8 is very vulnerable. At least I hope so!

Sorry to keep you waiting. I have had a lot of work, an ongoing family emergency, commitments as a coach and 9 official correspondence games. This was low on my priority.
I am enjoying the game and will do my best to keep it going with as little delay as I can manage.

I believe my intended move here was 15...a5. I'll stick with it so you don't have to wait too long.

Please see my previous post about my delay. I do not wish to share specific details except to say that they are also limiting my activity in the formal matches I am currently playing as a member of my national team.

I do apologise for keeping you waiting but I have had important things to deal with. If waiting a week or two for a move is going to be a problem then I will offer my resignation and sincere apologies.

Please accept 16...Be6. The decision is slightly rushed but it is the move I was considering previously and it seems fine upon revisiting this thread. Hopefully I have pictured the board correctly.
