Oh, I just realized I've probably given away too many spoilers? I get way too caught up in it, hopefully it didn't ruin anything.

And is it a spoiler to talk about Alistair's mother and hoping to find some sort of closure with her in Inquisition?
. So kind of cool. John. C

Kotaku.com posted an awesome guide of the story of the first two games.
With this and playing The Keep i think i am finally ready to jump right into Inquisition even without having played the second one.

Hi John!

I just got a call from our Gamestop letting me know they're having a launch party for Dragon Age: Inquisition tonight and I'll be able to pick up my copy at 10:01 pm!! !
:bounce:

Too bad I won't be able to play it until next week... :(

I'm thinking they've put too much effort into social relations in the game, rather than great killing.

I'm liking what I've played so far (about an hour and a half into the game)

Just takes me awhile to get used to things when they change up the formula (Origins to 2 wasn't too much of a learning experience) as with all games. Well that and I'm half asleep.

I'm considering building a new rig so I can play this game on top settings, it LOOKS really good. Only problem is that I never played DA2 and don't want to, is this game like Mass Effect, where I get the best results from importing from all the games or no?

You don't need to play either DA Orgins or DA2 to play DA Inquisition. You can either play the default world state or go to the Dragon Age keep to create a DAI world state that list most of the choices from the previous 2 games and then use that World State in DAI.

In order to use DA Keep you do need to create an EA Origin account.

ALso, I planning on upgrading my rig to enjoy DAI in all it's glory but won't be able to do until after Xmas.

I loved the combat system in origins and the way you can micro manage everything. Def going to buy the next one if it gets similar reviews.

I went online to buy it from Amazon last night, until I saw the price, they seem to be charging Playstation prices for PC games now and I am not going to encourage them.
It will be just as good in a year or two when it goes down to a sensible price.
