SNES: Star wars series, Super Mario World

N64: Star Wars: Rouge Squadron (I completed all 15 missions with a silver medal and most with a gold)

PC: in chronological order: Age of Empires 1 and 2, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri, Far Cry, Half Life series, FEAR, and most recently X3 Reunion 2.0. I spent an entire summer each on all of these except for Far Cry, FEAR, and Half Life.

Woah, I forgot to list Chrono Trigger! Really an honorary Final Fantasy game.

I really liked Shadow of Destiny too. It's a really unique premise. For one thing, it's a murder mystery, which is unusual in itself for a game...but the murder you're trying to solve is your own! You keep being brought back to times earlier and earlier, and keep failing. It involves time travel, and a really creepy plot.

Here's the link to Nethack by the way (it's free):

http://www.nethack.org/

It's always on the top 10 lists of the best games ever from good game sites. It basically just uses ascii characters as graphics, so I know it's hard to get into it. But once you do, there is SO MUCH DEPTH to it. There's so much you can do.

It's the precursor to games like Diablo or Champions of Norath, except it's way better than those games. There's so much more in it. More to find, explore, more abilities to use, more freedom to tackle the game the way you want to, etc.

I remember renting that back on the Genesis and being amazed by it. (I couldn't buy it at the time because it was $90!) I was really excited to play it again on my PSP with Sega Genesis Collection, and it seemed neat, but I was annoyed that you can't see how new weapons and armor will affect your characters before you buy them. I love stuff like that in modern RPGs!

I've always been surprised Sega never made a direct sequel after Phantasy Star IV.

I'm not much of a gamer, largely due to seizure issues, but I do enjoy the Sims 2 :)

I hate those games. I don't want to play a bad guy, especially not in the way you do in those games.

Exactly. There's a difference between depicting violent events and glorifying violent acts.

I like Final Fantasy game the best, especially VI. Chrono Trigger might be my favorite of all time though. Chrono Cross was also great, as are the Zelda games. Also Donkey Kong, Mario, MarioKart, Earthbound, Kingdom Hearts, and more.

I play World of Warcraft, casually. It's decent. Half my family plays, so it's great for keeping in touch. It's like instant messenger, with orcs. :D I'm only a level 38 priest.

Also, Morrowind is cool. It has a cool storyline. I need to finish it....
