Alex Kidd in Miracle World-the music from the first, second, fourth....etc levels.

Sonic the Hedgehog (SMS)-The Jungle level music. Plus I LOVE the original Sonic theme! Anyone who has it (NOT the techno remix!) will be my bestest friend!

Sonic 3 and Knuckles-Super Sonic/Tails/Knuckles music-*hums along annoyingly*

Final Fantasy VII Boss Theme-It's just plain cool to me.

Worms World Party Theme-Cute.

Super Mario World-First Level-I like Yoshi....and the music is annoyingly catchy.

The creepy background castle music in Devil May Cry is my current favorite. All time favorite is impossible to tell.

Nobuo Uematsu's music-Final Fantasy 6-10 and Chrono Trigger in particular
Tomb Raider: Legend
Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2
Streets of Rage 1 and Revenge of Shinobi (by the same person).

Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (Mark Snow) was good too. Probably a lot more, but that's what's coming to mind right now. Weirdly, I don't think most games have remarkable soundtracks, despite having tons of storage space. Resident Evil has AMAZING audio and music, but it's not really full songs like in a lot of games. Just atmospheric stuff...but the music is amazing when you hear it.

I'm surprised no one has said Katamari Damacy. I have the sound track. I would say Diablo 2 and Mario have pretty good music too.

I think that the Mario music is classic and so is the Zelda music. The Smash Bros. remixes of the Nintendo tunes are great too. The DK Rap is a great song too. You can hear it by playing one of these three games:

Donkey Kong 64
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Donkey Konga

And for the record, this is my 90th post.

Funnily enough, the game over music from the SMS version of Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion is cool.

As another poster said, anything by Nobuo Uematsu. I love the music from the Zelda games, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy IV, VI, VII, and X.

Anybody a fan of OCRemix? Some of my favorites are Terra in Black, Death on the Snowfield, and Another Inspiration.

What's OCRemix? Oh, nevermind, that was a link to the site! The very first track I tried out sounds neat. I'm going to have to listen to some of these!

I figured from the games you mentioned I'd like it.

Some of them get a little too techno-ish for my taste, but there are also some very beautiful interpretations! Glad you like ^_^

...and you must have super good taste in videogames, too.

Also...add Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to my list. I have no idea how I forgot it!
