FFXI is the best. its on the 360 now s well, and a new expansion with again better graphics. not only does it have far omre possibilities then the other final fantasy's, you evn learn some social skills (which are now helping me alot in real life )
I've always liked IX the most out of all of them. It has to be because of the characters who join you. Most of the other Final Fantasy characters are greatly human, but IX's characters are totally distinct in form, design and animal heritage. Everything is so different than the other Final Fantasies in that one. After that it would be VI. I didn't beat it until it came out on GBA, so now I really know what happened in it. It was pretty great. As for VII, I think they're going too far with Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus and all, wasn't the main story enough?

I think it's to do with the fact that VII brought RPG's into mainstream gaming so Square-Enix are cashing in on that with all the spin offs. My friend has got Dierge Of Cerberus and he thinks it's a good game so long as you accept that it's not an RPG. I'm not sure about the game though.

unlike most of you guys i can't say i've palyed most of them but i have ffx and i think it's grate however ffx2 is terible.
i also agree about the voice acting in ffx tidus is anoying and yuna is far to quiet for a main personaty in the game.
