I'm a fan of the Wii. I think the motion detectors are a really cool idea.
Alot of the games so far have been disappointing because they really haven't used the system's capabilities well at all. Hopefully that will change with the later games, but I still love some of them now. Like both Trauma Centers.
Also, I'm very excited about Super Smash Bros. I can't wait for it! XD

The Wii is the only console you'll be able to experience Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In my opinion that's a good range of games.

And I am quite looking forward to MK Wii, I'm just looking forward to SSBB even more. I go on the site every day there's an update.

yeah i've heard alot about mario galaxy it even won game of the year [according to gamespot] is it really that good because it looks like the crazy gaget nightmare all over again.

crazy gaget is a level in sonic adventure 2 where gravity becomes inverted and the controls are absulotely infuriating.

because from what i've seen with the whole inverting thing i'm doubting gamespot big time on their choice.

not trying to be negitive just curious negitivity comes natural to me.

The Wii should not be compared to the rest, as it is completely different.

As for the other two, I'd choose the 360. After all, most developers are putting their games onto the 360 as well as the PS3, and then there's pricing for each system, where the 360 wins.

In short, the Wii and 360.

tons of people on youtube have no problem comparing the two and the fights get very amusing after a while.

i say that the ps2 still has some kick left in her, but that almost entirely is because of my action replay and kingdom hearts 2.
obsessions aside i see your point on the wii but ps3 has motion controls of some kind, not the same but not eitirely different.

then again the xbox controller has more buttons then the other two so really all systems have something that sets them apart, guess the rest is prefrence which will probably mean that i'll choose ps3 because of my ps2, but that's just me.

That's understandable. All my consoles are Nintendo consoles because my favourite games, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokémon and Smash Bros. are all on those consoles. So, naturally, I picked the Wii to continue playing those games. If you're happy with the PS2 then you could get a PS3, but note that the 360 is cheaper and the PS3 probably is best waiting until Final Fantasy XIII comes out and the price of the machine drops.

I wish the wii made a new game: Wii social skills.

i actually haven't been looking in to the next final fantasy in fact the only one i really like is 7 and at a lesser spot 8 is descent too but i'm waiting right now for the new kingdom hearts games and crisis core. but yeah i'm waiting for a decent price drop and a game that makes me want to get it, the only ones that seem good are the sonic one [because i'm a 3d sonic game nut] and heavenly sword the rest look like i'd get nightmares from them [which happens very easily] but then again almost nothing a game can provide will scare me that much.

social skills. foirgive me for asking but why?

i use my fear of communication as a weapon to keep most away, and i know that most situations it works. although it means that contacting friends is more difficult.

well for when you dont want to keep most away.

but also to be prepared. knowing how it works can help you in important situations like job interviews. not to make you a different person in conversations, but to be prepared

oh i see where your coming from somewhat, like talking on a non aspie forum or site of any kind and not knowing wether what you said will upset someone.

i live with this fear constantly.

I enjoyed Sonic and the Secret Rings as well. I haven't completed it yet but it's just as good as Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

as far as secret rings goes i hate those game engines in general at least with the ps3 game i control wether sonic runs forward or not, i just don't like those things they remind he of to many older games that i sucked at. i'd be cussing the screen out in seconds once i've fallen down the same hole 15 times in a row.

besides from vids the ps3\xbox sonic game doesn't look that bad the glitches can't be worse the vigilante 8 and it's random slingshot manuver that happens whenever it feels like [which is so damn cool].

of course sonic adventure 1\2 were glitchy too, i doubt it is that bad besides i don't really listen to ratings some games that got horrible ratings i love and visa versa. like paper mario for 64 it is boring i hate it and i'm sure it got good ratings. and quest 64 probably the most hated game i've seen and i do enjoy it.

Fair enough. And good point about Super Mario Galaxy. It's two main innovations, different gravity and spherical worlds, have actually already been used by Sonic Adventure 2 Battle despite the fact that Nintendo came up with the idea originally (the Mario 128 demo). So, because it took so long for Nintendo to implement their idea, Sega has already used it. Crazy Gadget and Mad Space are the perfect examples.
