I'll try one from FFVI now.

Name: Locke

Origin: Final Fantasy VI

Background: Locke is a world renowned thief, although he prefers to be called a treasure hunter. At one point, he was hunting for treasure when his loved one Rachel met a terrible fate. He feels greatly disturbed about this and so joined the Returners. Eventually, he tries to steal the Phoenix in order to bring Rachel back to life but she lets him keep it and thanks him.

In SSB, Locke comes equipped to the battle with a Valiant Knife, which does more damage the more damage he has taken, and one of three espers. Because of this, his Special moves vary every time.

B: Fira/Blizzara/Thundara. Depending on the Esper, Locke will use one of three different moves, either electrocuting opponents, setting them on fire or freezing them.

>B: Steal. A forward jump. If Locke makes contact with an enemy he will steal their item. Occasionally, Locke will perform a Mug instead of a Steal, and attack his opponent while stealing an item. Can also be used for horizontal recovery.

^B: Float. Float upwards for a few seconds.

VB: Confuse/Imp/Poison. Confuse leaves opponents dazed for a few minutes, Imp makes them smaller and Poison gives out poison damage to the opponent.

Final Smash: Ultima. The Ultima animation from FFVI plays while this happens, then, when the screen flashes, everyone is sent flying.

Style: Locke is a quick character, and while his Valiant Knife is quire weak at first, as your damage increases it gets stronger. Your playing style will depend on the Esper Locke has during the battle, which you can tell if you watch his entrance.

Taunts:

Don't call me a thief, I'm a treasure hunter.

If anyone needs protecting, I'll do it.

I'm a treasure hunter and don't you forget it.

Victory:

(Third Taunt)

Hums victory jingle

(First Taunt)

I'm not convinced that Locke would use Ultima. What about summoning Phoenix? That would be much more pertinent to his character.

Silver the Hedgehog

Amy Rose
Rogue
Dr. Eggman

Name: Richter Belmont

Origin: Dracula X Chi no Rondo (The Rondo of Blood)

Background:

Quote:
(Mr. P's Castlevania Realm)
Richter's accomplishments have made him one of the more celebrated Belmonts, and his popularity is second only to Simon's. Though, his plight was fairly more complex than most of the normal hunt-and-kill-Dracula Belmonts', his burden deeper. When the dark priest Shaft plotted to conquer the world by resurrecting Dracula and following the Dark Lord's lead, it was Richter who bore the troubling onus. Upon his return, Dracula commanded that his vile forces ravage the young Belmont's village and in the process abduct his girlfriend, Annet, her younger sister, Maria, and other women important to the village's long-term health. This act pushed Richter over the line and within him there was instilled a sense of justice; it was now his mission to exterminate evil's amassed army, to confront the instigating Shaft, to arrive in time to save the women, and to put the Count out of his misery.

B- Knives

Up+B- Axe

Down+B- Holy Water

Left/Right+B- Cross

Final Smash- Item Crash

(Alternate control scheme- press b+left or right to cycle through sub-weapons, b to use them.)

Style- mostly speed with some strength to fill in what isn't speed

A attacks:

A- simple whip attack (fast, just below average strength)

Up+A- Uppercut move as see non SotN and PoR, (smash, stronger uppercut which sends enemy up into air)

Down+A- Sliding kick as seen in SotN and PoR (rather weak, but decent speed) (smash, the kick is faster, stronger and pushes the opponent away)

Left/Right+A- Spins whip as he dashes forward, as seen in Sot-(you know what I"m gonna say by now :P) (smash, he spins the whip really fast as he dashes forward, stronger, faster, goes through opponent)

Taunt: pretty much the same as in SotN and PoR; he puts one foot behind him and stands with his back facing the player.

Side notes: if one dodges backwards diagonally, he'll perform his backdash move seen in Dracula X. there should also be some sort of combo for the regular A attack.

How's that?

It would be much better if you explained what the B-Moves did. I don't think that Item-Cycling thing would fly either. However, a Belmont should be in an SSB game.

Actually Phoenix is a much better idea. It could be used if your about to die to stop you from losing a life or everyone else could be burned. Which would be better?

How's about, it causes massive fire damage, but can potentially revitalise Locke, or even (in Stock matches) give him another life? I'd prefer, if only one effect is used, that the fire damage is used.

A Rock Man should be in it.

I would prefer Zero, because he has the most melee-type attacks, and because I <3 Zero.
So I'm going to work mostly with Zero here.

B: Charge, naturally. Zero should charge the Z-Saber, another Rock Man would use a Buster. I think that they should be able to charge while moving, but that's not absolutely necessary.

->B: Dash. Non-damage move. If they jump after activating Dash, they do a Dash jump.
Maybe there should be an Air Dash as well, but the Air Dash is not available that often in the series, particularily for Zero, so I'm very unsure.

^B: I don't know. Zero has his Chain Rod, but I would prefer to put it as a grab. Think "Link and Samus". Maybe an EX-skill?

VB: No clue. Maybe Shield Boomerang? Or something? No clue.

Final: Omega Mode. He flashes. He laughs like a maniac every time he strikes. He moves with the speed of Dash. He is stronger than usual. It ends after a certain time has passed. If B is pressed, he uses that Engulfing Light move in which he punches the ground. Omega Mode ends once that move is used, so it's best to wait until the time is almost up.

The parameters are tricky. Medium would be best. Junk should be heavy, but making Zero slow is insulting. Just stick with medium.

Taunts:
1: Conversation pose. (as opposed to battle pose) This should be the "up"-taunt. He says nothing.
2: Playing with the Z-Saber?
3: Looks away. ". . . X . . ."
4: " . . . I'll handle it." / ". . . Makaseru."

Entering taunt (start of brawl): Throws the cloak away, saying "Let's go.", like in his second solo-game. OR just beams in normally.

Victory taunt: Stands up straight (conversation pose) and beams out. Zero doesn't linger. Period.

Emblem: Z - What else?

I've never played Mega Man but that seems like a good move set. Stick with Shield Boomerang for down maybe but I'm not sure about up.

I forgot Knuckles from Sonic.

People who can make the character things for the characters I wanted go right head and make them.

Domon's moves are self-explained from different articles on web.

Edit: I am wrong, of course. Zero does linger. But he just gathers his thoughts, and says ". . . . . . . . .".
I wanted to clarify that.

Also, I have considered the move-set.
^B: Maybe Houshouzan? Think Shouryuken while wielding a flaming Z-Saber.
VB: I'm still unsure. Maybe the Shield Boomerang, but I'm not sure about how it would work in practice.
I think that another EX-skill may be better. That kazekiri-like wave from Sage Harpuia would be nice. But slightly modified, perhaps.

I also forgot to mention A-button style. The Z-Saber is a given. But I would also like knuckles and those tonfa-like things to be represented.

For me, I have no idea when I get it. Only that it's after Spring :( . Oh well, I'll play Mario Kart Wii to pass the time until it comes out.
