I've been playing 112 Operator on Steam. But the later stages are overwhelming because there are about 500 incidents in a single game day, and not nearly enough police cars, fire engines and ambulances, and I keep having to call reinforcements because buying new vehicles is too expensive.

Some of the calls have been pretty interesting. *SPOILERS*

There was a Karen, whose name really was Karen, and when she calls she's flipping out because the soup she got was terrible and she thinks the restaurant tried to poison her. Another one was a couple of guys who were doing something "romantically" with a light bulb.

No one will stop talking about Animal Crossing: New Horizons and it's driving me crazy because I can't play it. I don't even watch the 500 daily new videos about the game. I don't want to watch it, I want to play it! But I don't have a Switch and I can't afford one. It's not fair. :(

I'm 57 y/o, gay, though single [sigh]. For at least the last 30 years I've thought of dancing with my future husband (whomever he is) to this.... Bobby Darin's 'Beyond the Sea'. Just ... beyond the sea ...

I've been playing Snowrunner lately, which satisfies my inner child driving around all the heavy machinery.

Loved this movie/song when I was a kid.

I just finished The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd. That was the only game in the series that I hadn't played yet, at least as far as English releases go, because I figured that it was a fairly disposable side-story rather than an essential part of the overall narrative; that assumption wasn't wrong but the more personal story here is well-written, I liked Graham a lot more as a character by the end and some of the side stories were interesting (Renne's was extremely grim) although admittedly I skipped many of them.

I think I'm going to play the shoddy fantranslation of Ao no Kiseki and then play all the Cold Steel games again.
I should try finishing Persona 5 Royal but the extra story content coming after 100 hours of gameplay wasn't a smart move on Atlus's part and I'm pretty much over the game at this point.

Oh and I finished FF7 Remake recently, great game. And I've just bought MK11 but it's gonna take like 20 hours to download. Guess I'll be playing FighterZ tonight instead.

I've been replaying the first two Trails of Cold Steel games. I don't dislike them overall, broad strokes of the setting and the plot are interesting, but everything is undermined by an incredibly weak script and a cast of flat and unlikeable characters. Dialogue often feels rote & perfunctory yet also overly wordy due to every member of the extended cast injecting with meaningless statements — I'd be curious to know how much dialogue in these games is an actual character interaction as opposed to a character simply giving an unacknowledged line to remind the player that said character is still present. It's the opposite of Trails in the Sky, where dialogue generally feels natural and characters are well-fleshed-out.

Forge of Empires.  I'm still in the Bronze Age after four days of playing.

I'll see if I can get a $50 gift card on my next trip to the store.

Playing 25 Years Of Doom, a recently released megawad. Here's a playthrough of an early level if anyone's interested:
