Frontlines: Fuel of War. I got it ages ago as part of some package deal and thought I might as well give it a go... first surprise was finding out it isn't an RTS like I thought. It's mildly amusing. The acting and script are bad.
Also Fate of the World, King Arthur, and UFO: Afterlight. Getting bored with Afterlight (I love the cartoon graphics, but it all gets very tedious, feels like you're fighting the same battles over and over again... mainly because you are, you have to fend off zillions of attacks in the same places (like, the exact same tiny maps) over and over and it gets a bit dull. Though it is nice to be the one dishing out the psionic hurt for a change... I imagine the poor enemy commander is staring at a screen getting messages something like:
"Beastman Matriarch is under Mind Control! ...Beastman Chief killed by Beastman Matriarch ...Beastman Chief killed by Beastman Matriarch ...Beastman Alchemist killed by Beastman Matriarch ...Beastman Matriarch has panicked! ...Beastman Matriarch was hit by Psycho Granny With Laser Cannon for 2000hp ...Beastman Matriarch is dead."
Intermittently playing King Arthur, as I'm on something of an Arthurian jag at the moment; have half-translated about 900 lines of Sir Gawain so far, though this is only the roughest of rough drafts and getting the alliteration back for all the lines where it breaks in translation is going to be a pain.
I was very amused to realise ME "selly" (strange, miraculous) -> English "silly" via a lot of intermediate steps, but it's also the same word that's usually written Seelie in the context of fairies. Respect the Silly Court!
