the 19th mainline Touhou Project series game, "Touhou Juuouen: Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost." is my favorite video game of all time.

I keep playing it and keep loving it. Sure, gameplay can get a bit janky, but ZUN had half a year to make this as he started in winter last year and it released August 13th this year, not to mention this is the most gameplay content the mainline bullet hells have ever had. The story, the characters, the MUSIC! I never expected a VS Shmup would be my favorite game ever.

I have about 30 hours in it so far and plan to keep going forever

I've been meaning to seriously try a Touhou game for a long time, but I always heard Perfect Cherry Blossom and Imperishable Night were the best ones. Or at least, those are the ones I keep hearing about.

Those are commonly listed as the easier ones, but they can be slightly harder to access because they aren't on Steam. All of the main games from 10 (fuujinroku: Mountain of Faith) onward are, though, with 10 also being easy and good for beginners. If older games aren't your style, 18 (kouryudou: Unconnected Marketeers) has some roguelite elements in its ability card shop system, and 13 (shinreibyou: Ten Desires) is widely regarded as the easiest Touhou game.

Thank you for the assistance! I'll try these games at some point! I don't care too much if the best games aren't on Steam, I'll get hold of them

Oh, I don't think I mentioned this, I finally found all of the endings for MyHouse.wad the other night, and I found -most- of the secrets.

Seriously one of the most incredible video game experiences I have ever had.
I'm not even into that whole "creepy pasta" scene that I guess it borrows from, but the atmosphere really got to me.

Just finished TotK last night, so after I get these few remaining side quests out of the way (will probably just look them up) I'll probably go back to Hyrule Warriors 2.

...I kind of also want to play Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, though...hmm...
