Started playing Neverwinter Nights tonight, and I gotta say it's pretty awesome. 8-) Definitely a lot more slower paced than Dragon Age, but I love that it's based on Dungeons and Dragons, since I've always wanted to play that. I'm a lawful evil, gnome cleric. :D I'm probably doing horrible with my skills and feats and attributes and everything, but can't learn until I try. ;)

I've been making a list of RPGs that I want, so far I have:
Planescape: Torment
Fable
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Neverwinter Nights 2
Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2
The Temple of Elemental Evil

Of which I've only played Fable (and liked that a lot). From what I've read all those games are really good. :D

Planescape : Torment is one of the greatest RPGS ever made. 8)

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Picked it up on Steam a few days ago for $10. It's been good so far.

Yeah, everywhere I read that it has an amazing story, so I have to try it out for myself. 8)

I really want to play that, and the Penumbra games before it, but they're way to scary for me. 8O

Recettear: an Item Shop's Tale. Picked it up for 20 bucks on Impulse (pretty sure it's on Steam too) and already gotten a solid 100 or so hours of play out of it. You play as a girl who has to run an item shop much like what you'd see in that useless first town of a normal RPG in order to pay back a debt, and it's surprisingly complex and addictive. If you like games like Harvest Moon or Dark Cloud and the like, I highly recommend it, so long as you don't mind Japanese voice acting with subtitles, the anime style of art, and playing as a girl who appears to be about 11 years old.

Dungeons and Dragons Online. I like the hack and slash combat more than point and click, but the dice rolling is kind of annoying. How the heck can I miss when a sword when the enemy is a foot in front of me? :| I like that it has instances for quests, which for me is more fun than running around a ton doing stuff, like in WoW.
