Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for the PS2.
$15 or less, 327 wrestlers to start off with, ability to create 500 wrestlers, in-depth configurable logic for said created wrestlers, 10 custom rings, 10 custom refs, 6 custom logos, and all you'll need to sacrifice in return is getting used to a 2-D game in today's age of gaming and the grappling system (Which is timing-based.)

Syphon filter 1 was placed on top of 3 and 2. And was told that u don't like 3 and 2 if u were a fan of the first game. I treated all three of these games quite equally. They were awesome!!

Catherine is one of the most underrated games to get released over the last couple of years. Those puzzles are insane.

Tecmo Super Bowl III: Final Edition. They added a lot in that game (audibles, 2 point conversions, etc) but it isn't as popular as the original TSB. I love that game.

Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast, which is also available on the gamecube which some people say is the better version but the dreamcast version has better music.

Strife for the PC. It's an FPS released in 1996. What made this game so special compared to other FPS's at the time was that you would be able to talk to NPC's and make decisions that would alter the future gameplay.

Pandemonium 2 for the PSX. A platformer released in 1997. Pandemonium 2 has the biggest amount of themes i have ever seen. This made me keep playing non-stop because i was always curious on what would come next.

Darkstone for the PC. An RPG released in 1999. It plays allot like Diablo. I had much fun playing this in LAN parties.

Phantasy Star online 3 for the Gamecube. Unlike it's predecessors you use cards in this one. Very addicting gameplay, it's a shame the singleplayer mode is so short.

possibly Tom Clancy's Endwar.

Graphically, its the game that Command and Conquer should have been.

Plus it has an intuitive voice control player interface.

I haven't played The Darkness but Star Wars Force Unleashed had poor level design in parts, it had a few performance issues as well but it was a fun game. It is worthy of a score of around 7.5 but compared to games like Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic, it doesn't hold a candle.

I don't think it is underrated considering it did get a 7.5 score on Gamespot but I wouldn't put it in the same league to a game like Mass Effect.

Apologies if this has been mention before, but:

EarthBound for the SNES.

The words 'criminally underrated' don't even begin to describe it.

This game broke SO much ground in the RPG genre. It took place in a modern setting, its heroes were kids, level grinding doesn't feel like a chore, and the story doesn't take itself too seriously. If you consider yourself a hardcore RPG fan, and have never even heard of EarthBound, then you should be ashamed of yourself.
