I overheard a conversation between Garus and Tali while on the Citadel, it whent along the lines of Garus asking Tali if she misses the old elivators and what they would talk about, Tali didn't sound very happy of the subject or Garus trying to get her to explain like the good old times. Instead Tali threated to use her shotgun, it was a good jab at how long the elivators took in Mass Effect 1.

I also got Legion, I like him, in a way he confirms some of my suspicions and I like his kind even more now, it was funny when asked about the exact reason behind his armour, first tried useing a too simple excuse, then I assumed pretended not to know. I got a good laugh when I walked in with him doing "the robot" (dancing).

I am resting it for the day and will do the final mission tomorow, and will start with getting upgrades and such before going, I also have chosen the Tali romance (interspecies FTW) as she is much better then miss perfect and psychic Ridick. I also feel encouraged to finish my other Mass Effect playthrough so I can play differently.

I KNOW! The elevators in the first game were such an annoyance. I am glad they got rid of those things in the second game. And even though it took awhile to get used to maneuvering the thing, I miss the Mako, and the opportunity to go back and forth between planet and ship to change out my squad. With the second game, there are only certain places you can do that. On planets for missions, it seems you're stuck with the one squad unless you restart the mission (a feature I am GLAD they introduced). I guess it's an even trade-off where you can change your squad. But I do sometimes wish you can do it in the menu like you can on some other RPGs, whenever and wherever you wish.

I'm glad to see the Mako gone. It was cool, but not exciting.

EDIT
You can lose team mates on the last mission, even if fully prepared, after some trouble I have managed to do it though. I even chucked my own one liner when finishing it off, had my heart thumping from a few of the parts of team members being in danger.

I play it on laptop with integrated video 8400M GS xD. Tweaked the GameSettings.
Frame rates between 10 - 34. But it does not bother me. I have played Mass Effect 1 also witch had frame rate over 30 most of the time. Such great games. Mass Effect 2 is more comfortable because you do not have to run around too much, also the elevators were boring, but i liked the music in them. I like playing as infiltrator. Love snipers.
Finished it yesterday. Last mission was awesome. Going to play it again. The gameplay truly is addictive. Much more fun than the first game.

I loved that convo between Garrus and Tali, and f*ck those damn elevators in ME1. Also, though I know all of the romance options for a male shepard, I'm guessing the asari and Jacobs are 2 of the options for a female Shepard... but who are the other two? Because if Garrus is one... well I know exactly who my female Shepard is going to cuddle up with. I'd guess Zaeed would be the third, but I'm not sure because he's DLC.

I like very much that someone has paid attention to the science of the setting. While there are some ridiculous things (like - I don't think I'm spoiling anything being this vague - that thing at the end of the last mission, which was just plain silly in concept and comical in execution) hearing guys in the market talking about "never mix spices of different chirality, idiot" :) , the general incompatibility of foodstuffs and atmospheres, the descriptions of the planets, the apparent implausibility of a cross-species plague and the way the characters automatically wear full helmets when they should is very nice. :)

I'm playing it through a second time, just found a world with a crashed freighter (the MV somethingorother) - had some heartstopping moments on that one. :D

My favorite convo was the NPC "game" salesman (can't remember planet) and how he was talking to another NPC about how he remembers when games took "5 hours in real time!" to move across the universe and what is the world coming to. I LOL'ed pretty hard

Spoiler alert --

It took me, like FOUR TRIES, to get through the derelict Collector ship. And that flying mosquito thing that shoots beams at me, dogs my rear-end wherever I HIDE, didn't much help!! !! This has GOT to be the hardest game I have ever played. Harder than Fallout 3 even.

I've now bought ME1, and am playing through it. It's strange driving round in the Mako and casually destroying Armature-class Geth. :) Also finally figured out how to get the DLC working with ME2 (neither IE nor Chrome was handling the webpage right, so it wasn't letting me register properly, which stymied me for a while.)

What difficulty were you playing on? I beat the whole game on normal in 23 hours and died maybe 5 times, 3 on one battle because I could not figure out were I was supposed to go (not the ship though)....

That's in a booth on the Citadel. When I found him, he was selling someone on the virtues of the MMO "Galaxy of Fantasy", "based on turian mythology. They've got over 11 million players now!"

(In case you've managed to avoid all of Blizzard's banner ads, they like to boast that World of Warcraft has eleven million players...)

Probably the hardest battles I found was with the tank like Husk and getting surounded by the other Husks which seem to be a bigger threat and distract you from what else is hapening. Though I playing adept figured out later useing a low level biotic move like throw is quite effective against the weaker ones.

I clear mine in 28 hours, all missions done, all planets drained/hidden scanner missions, all characters and 1 death by that annoying metal squid on the busted reaper ship. I hate dying. (normal difficulty)

Sniper Rifle tank husks in the head (that hangs loosely on their sides under the puss pouch) and Incinerate small husks with the area of effect optional choice after filling out the bar. Husks are not hard but I have to admit they scare me, hate zombie like enemies.

But they are pretty easy to handle if you have Incinerate and that other Nervous system stun, both AOE.

There was one mission that was a hidden planet scan, a planet with a artifact and husks were spawning from the room and to make it stop you had to enter the area and then blow up some containers. I didn't think of it like that and thought I could proceed after finishing of the wave but I ended up mowing down about 50 husks before It came to me. It was hell and they're so damn creepy.
