Agreed. That temple killed the game for me.

Yeah I still haven't finished that game and I probably won't because I'm just too confused by it.

Hmm I am usually my own biggest disappointment because in games that I really find fun like Guild Wars and Dungeons and Dragons Online, I suck playing by myself and I always need my friends to come help me when I get into difficult stuff, which is pretty soon after the training bit. I don't know what it is......

Also one was with Harvest Moon 64. I was doing amazingly, getting the girl of my dreams really quickly and whatnot, then my sister accidentally deleted my file. I still don't think I've restarted. Hmm maybe today.

ALSO also... Pokémon Battle Revolution (the one for the Wii?): It's just battling! I thought there would be some storyline to it. And I never really figured out how to use my own choice of rental Pokémon, so it's a good thing I copied my DS game into it. But you can only use each Pokémon once on each Battle Pass. Pretty dumb. And also what if I want to copy another DS game onto it. Does it delete the previous data? :? OH yeah.. and the narrator. The way they pieced together the monologue/voiceover was very sloppy.

Too bad Spirit Tracks wasn't much of an improvement, at least to me to be honest I was hoping that at least it would play more like a classic instead of almost solely using the touch screen.

If you're looking for an online game if you join wow on Medhiv that is where I have been on for the past couple of months

Yeah, I really can't stand the controls in Phantom Hourglass.

Fortunately, I've got it hacked now, so next time I try to play it, it should control more like Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland (though I haven't tested it yet).

Personally I want Nintendo to cut it with the gimmicky controls and get back to it's roots of good control with great game play.

Biggest gaming disappointment, hmmmm.

These all sucked, but not the biggest disappointment for me.

Cover art for Bomberman Act Zero, never actually played it, but that simply didn't look right at all.

Star Wars The Force Unleashed (Wii version) being to short, and the vs mode was terrible. Good game uther than that though.

Nintendo at E3 the last couple of years....

December 3rd 2007

Roy and Mewtwo, absent from Super Smash Bros Brawl.

caughfloodoffpsgamesandsomanygameswithquoterealisticunquotegraphicsakaeverythingisbrowncough

The thing that really tops all of that, finding a good game of Super Smash Bros Brawl online is really hard to do, because all you can find are a bunch of "competitive players" who play with items turned off, and limit what stages you can play on. Also, the fact that a lot of players in that community are just plain out jerks. Either way, I have actually made a few friends within that community who aren't jerks (or aren't jerks all the time). I can play with the competitive ruleset, but it just isn't the same for me, and the whole thing has kinda turned me away from Smash Bros.

Rome Total War

It had w*k AI
It felt like a monty python version of history (flaming pigs, head chucking bretons)
It was delayed for a year to make the game more "accessable" i.e. dumbed down.
During that year it recieved tons of hype had a game show (Time Commander) promoting it, lots of promotion in mags before release

Its taken years of modding by people in their own time to make it a decent game (Europa Barbarian Mod)

Medieval total war and Shogun total war were so much better even with the out of date 8 bit graphics

The game engine it used didn't really achieve maturity till the expansion for its sequal medieval 2 Kingdoms. Even then its still taken a greek modder to give it any decent AI

It really disappointed me as a game I was expecting so much more. Empire total war has felt like a repeat so i've not wasted my time on napoleon total war. Might get it for the multiplayer campaigns but thats it.

napoleon total war is a lot harder (for me at least). i agree, rome was easy to finish, with any faction.

Left For Dead 2 *Spoilers*

Just played the latest campaign for Left For Dead 2 and I must say I am disappointed about the lack of feeling the original survivors shown for the passing of Bill. I know in a war like place you can't get too caught up in death of a friend but they barely mentioned him and just blissfully went through with what ever they were doing. Plus you find Bill's corpse but there is no back story to how he did. I know valve likes to have a come to your own conclusion about stuff like that but there is putting pieces together and then there is leaving you in a dark room and throwing the pieces randomly around.

At least that is how I feel.

They mourned for like five seconds and now they're just waiting for someone to help them out with the bridge so they can go find a closet.

The new skill in Runescape, dungeoneering, is a bit of a disappointment for 2 reasons.
1. You can't take out what you make in the dungeon or bring stuff in.
2. No one will join my party. :(

The current console generation, with a select few exceptions. Graphics over gameplay = epic fail.
PS3/360 - I honestly don't like either one. Both consoles have too many things wrong with them to be worth my money. The Wii is completely average at best, not really worth picking up for only a few choice games. At least not at full-price anyway.
