Moved my char over to Doomhammer and it got hacked ( I didn't play after transfer for about a month) I just moved it in case I would start playing again with my old guild.

I open up my G-mail and I got this nice little message from Blizz that "I", my account was involved in illegal gold farming/selling. That's that. No more WoW for me.

you do know lots of those are fake ones designed to get your password right? i get like 10 emails a week, supposedly from blizzard, telling me i am trying to sell my account or char/having my account deleted/ being investigaated for this or that.

i just ignore and delete. it's spam.

yes I know those kind of mails end up in my spam folder so I know what is what.
I have never clicked any links. I logged on to my B-Net and saw that I had been banned, big red caps letters BANNED.

I've fixed it now though, had to change my gmail and they are recovering items on my char.
It's taking some time as well but I guess they are busy with Cata as well.

I have a tendency toward alts, but since the revamp of quest chains in the wake of the Cataclysm, I've actually been having fun advancing just the one character. (Although I still intend to create my worgen DK, once I actually get the Cata expansion - then try to figure out where I'm going to come up with circa 15k gold for a Mekgineer's Chopper, because I still really want to see an undead werewolf on a motorcycle...)

who wouldn't, only make a worgen rogue, that way you will have werewolf ninja on a motorcycle

Characters: LOTS!! !! I have multiple characters (on two accounts), and am working on leveling 6 characters to at least level 80 to allow me to have all of the professions covered. My highest character is level 77 rogue - I have tried out lots of different classes, trying to find what suits me. I think I might like being priest healer best for groups, but only if the group is ok - I usually prefer DPS for pickup groups because you are more anonymous. I have found I need to play as each class so I understand it to be able to work properly in a group.

I was interested to see how many people seemed to be playing Horde - I play alliance but started with a Horde character & actually sort of prefer Horde.
