What I liked with OoT in the Dark Link battle was that, after the battle the place didn't turn out to be small islands with on an open landscape.

I was a bit confused when it turned out to be a room, I was a bit disappointed.

Lately I've also beat Majora's Mask, I used the fierce dietys mask, and didn't touch the boss at all, but just shot those magic discs which consume energy. I didn't even need to get close to any mask of the enemy masks.

When I was at college this was my day-

Morning - play Zelda (ocarina of time on N64)

Afternoon - get stuck on Zelda, go to college. Spend all the time at college reading Zelda guides on the net

Evening - Go back home and play Zelda

Night - go out to have some drinks with friends (all the time wishing I was back home on the N64)

Early Morning - Play Zelda till I fall asleep, only tpo wake up the next day for another day of Zelda!

Then when I completed it, I moved on to Mario.

I'm a huge Zelda fan too. Got Minish Cap this past weekend, and the GBA port of Zelda II: Adventure of Link was on sale for 10 bucks so I got it too..

Minish Cap was good, but waaay too short (seems like Wind Waker was short too... kind of a bad trend :( ). Zelda II: sweet jumpin' Jesus this is one hard game. I'd rented it when I was a kid but never bought it.. now I know why  I still want to finish it just for the bragging rights tho. After that I'll be done with every Zelda game to date, except those Four Swords games (which I'll probably never play since when I'm playing with my gamer friends they're only interested in stuff like Warcraft 3 or something with heads exploding like mortal kombat

Thats the thing that frustrates me about the Zelda games- ever since the 2nd NES game, they have all been prequels... I just don't like prequels as much, I'd prefer that they actually advanced the storyline further.

Bring back the original brown haired Link from the first two games and the tv series, and show us what happens next! We've had more than enough adventures with blonde haired, blue eyed Aryan Link and Zelda- its about time they bring back the brown haired Link and the redhead Zelda- the original ones from the 80s!
"Well excuuuuuse me, princess!" :D

See I kinda like that aspect of it because its just so much fun to try to piece together what order the games go in from various clues in the manuals, games, etc. Some of the theories that people post online are pretty out there

Yeah, I guess the word "game" had it's definition stretched there.

I want Twilight Princess, yawned through Wind Waker, and enjoyed Majoras Mask.

Favorite miniboss IMO were the Gerudo blademasters (the ones wielding dual scimitars) from Ocarina of Time, as they were one of a rare selection of human opponents.

Favorite minor boss IMO was Odalwa (the masked swordsman) from Majoras Mask because unlike most bosses, he wasn't a puzzle (i.e. Use the new item found in the dungeon; follow up with sword, rinse and repeat), but a straight up battle. You could simply attack him with your sword while dodging his summoned monsters and flame traps.

Favorite major boss...sadly I'll have to say Ganondorf in Wind Waker, but you can thank Zelda for that. Now, if only they would make a real "RPG" Zelda akin to Secret of Mana where you have a party that levels up and gains new abilities and such.

Email Nintendo and see if they buy it. I think that's a great idea!

Does anyone try to get everything in each Zelda game? Things like all 100 skulltulas in Ocarina of Time. All 24 masks, 52 heart pieces in Majora's Mask. Has anyone truly mastered all Zelda games?

Me too. The next Zelda is rumored to have over one hundred hours of side quests! I don't think I'll be finishing all of them.

I try to get enough just so it will help the character in the game.

I think up till 40 skulltulas you got bombchus. I wouldn't go further than 50 skulltulas, only if I got something special at 60 70 80 90 and 100 skulltulas.

I would always go for the biggoron sword because it deals double damage. Without it I wouldn't feel that I made the best choice.

What is your favourite phrase which is said by a boss or another npc?
Mine is in Majoras Mask when Majoras Mask holds the skullkid in the air, drops him and says something like:
"Certainly, he couldn't control [MY] power", but I also like the animation of the mask floating in the air in a circle, and the music.

Has anyone else tried to sort all the Zelda games into some kind of meaningful timeline, storywise? :nerdy:
