If a video game character is silent, it doesn't make them an Aspie...

Well, I say:

Squall Leonhart (Final Fantasy VIII)

Hal 'Otacon' Emmerich (Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2)

Dr K Maeda (Parasite Eve)

Shelke (Dirge of Cerberus:FFVII)

Manny (the guy obsessed with the Nintendo Gallery in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker)

Yes, like Chrono Trigger, Akira Torikama was the character designer.

A classmate told me Hero was rare, but I don't know if he may be aspie.

No... but there are other hints. He's a PhD, a research physicist... yet his job seems to consist of the "grunt" work in the experiment (pushing the sample into the chamber)... so maybe he's picked on, or just not entirely motivated to achieve higher positions than that... He seems to have a problem with running late (I know I'm terrible at keeping to a schedule)... his co-workers feel the need to repeat things to him...

Wasn't Gordon Freeman running late in the first Half Life because the trams were messing up that morning though?

Ema Skye from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. She's so obsessed with science, and is pretty naive and innocent.

Falco and Slippy from StarFox, for two entirely different reasons.

Falco seems to avoid chitchat with the rest of his crew, probably because he was picked upon and bullied when he was younger. He does seem like he keeps himself to himself, even though he is part of a team. He probably got bullied and called "birdbreath" or something like that.

As for Slippy, he's probably a manic depressive, which is why he talks in such a high voice. He annoys everyone else, is obsessed with mechanics and I'm suprised he even has friends.

Andross was probably an Aspie because he's a scientist who probably got self-obsessed.

And yes, Samus probably is an Aspie, as well as Link and Ash Ketchum. It's hard to tell really, it's not like in any game's cut-scenes the main character admits to having AS. Ash probably is an Aspie because the creator of Pokémon was an Aspie.

Dpctpr kluner from Hl-2 is pretty obviously one of us, his pet headcrab, he obesess over, his absent mindness, his sense of humour "I see it still fits you like a glove. Atleast the glove part does anyways."

I suspect father grigori is, because of his ingenious use of traps, general craaziness, and unstopping quest to end the suffering of the residents of ravenholm's suffering as headcrab zombies.

Adrian Shepphard from Opposing Force, seems like us to me. He is obviously a tactical mastermind, he can pick up any weapon of any origin and use it, he acttually tries to save his comrades.

G-man, his strange metallic voice, his strange speech, general all around crypticness.
