I still play these horror games now. The 90's to early 00's were Capcom's hayday.

Capcom and Konami were also the best 3rd party companies for the NES back in the 80s. Along with Capcom's great arcade games from the 80s too.

They need to stop trying to be be a western dev who dumbs down their games for the 13 year old American I wont bother with them

Just remembered a series of games no-one has mentioned which I am surprised about... Wipeout!
Also, The Simpsons: Hit & Run was fun, like a lesser GTA. Would be nice to see that in HD.

I'm glad they finally did an HD remake of the first three Ratchet and Clank games. I already have the Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper HD collections.

I thought they would happen as I posted about it at the start of this topic. I honestly had no idea it was going to be released.
Gives me a little hope about the others I've mentioned.

I'm glad you agree I was reminded last night how ^&*(Ing awsome Sega are after playing Rez last night for the 1st time , it's so 1999 but in the best possible way.


Actually I'm a little disappointed in myself that I got on the PS1/Ps2 hype train and completely ignored Sega at the time (coming from being a massive Sega fanboi.) I guess I can be excused I was suffering from effects of undiagnosed brain injury and I guess I wanted to be like the cool kids I suppose.

Or I can put it down to the naivety of youth


Oh I think Duke is awesome his giving a 2 fingured salute to the poo faced serious lamoids out their (thats why he was poorly recieved)

That's not the only thing why Duke was poorly recieved, there's also the fans getting miffed about Duke 4... which came out late and it's not like the other three.

Contra would also be a brilliant FPS.

They re-released the ancient classic "Thexder"... I've been meaning to buy it!

Then there's Star Control 2, remade open-source and in better quality than the original... but there's still lots of room for huge improvement, like this guy is experimenting with:

I agree his not for every one I admire the game as their doing something differant Even if your not a fan is he really only worth a 2-3 out of 10

Nope, as I've not recalled a game that's about killing aliens and being rewarded with boobs with a dollar sign.
Though a film... there are one or two that spring to mind.

What about Tomb Raider Aniversary for once it didn't feel like a cynical cash in , that game deserves more love than it gets.



I'm not to optimistic on the next TR game, survival horror ? what next it's gonna resemble Call of Booty (don't be surprised) More than ever now you need to dig through the merde to find the truffle (sometimes it feels like that pile is the size of Belgium )

Still it's not as bad as the PS2 era not sure why that period gets so much love

God of war and ratchet and Clank collections have me satisfied, maybe an Onimusha collection as well.
