Bubble Bobble final boss. I cannot beat him. I've faced him over a hundred times. And I'm very good at video games! :x

Had some trouble with Motaro in Mortal Kombat 3. Mukai from King Of Fighters 2003 was also a tough nut to crack. Fricking spammed his rock throw move.

Speaking of SNK bosses, what the feck is Ultimate Rugal in Capcom vs SNK. Oh, and Shin Akuma. If you don't watch out, he can land a single hit KO.

Sephiroth (Kingdom Hearts II)

I never beat him in the first one.

Mr. Big (Narc) - Not only is this guy huge, but he's FAST, which makes it very hard to dodge him since your guy moves so much slower compared to him. Shooting him slows him down a bit, but it would've been nice if you could move backwards while shooting at the same time.

Magaki (KOF XI) - Even on the easier difficulties, it's a pain to defeat him since there's so much stuff flying around. He spams his projectile attacks A LOT.

Goenitz (KOF '96) - His tornadoes alone make him very hard to beat. By the way, if you get too close, he'll just use his DM which is basically grabbing you and then engulfing you in a bigger tornado while he holds on to you. If you try to get back from or approach him, he'll just nail you with a tornado.

For me, the boulder monster was harder than Wily.

To this day I can't beat him without the pause trick. You know, pausing/unpausing so you do damage again? Hard hard HARD!

Albert Wesker from Resident Evil 5. RE 5 was probably the most difficult game I've played. The entire game was intense and the zombies/creatures were actually hard to kill or evade.

I never made it past five minutes of gameplay before I died.

Dracula from the original Castlevania on NES. I never beat him because I never figured out you needed to use holy water on his second form. Only found this out many, many years later after getting the internet.

Sebastian Vettel in the X1 races of Gran Turismo 5. :D

Bongo-Bongo, from TLoZ: Ocarina of Time ... Not a hard fight in general, but it took me a while to figure out you could just use Nayru's Love for some of his nastier attacks

It's a toss up between 4 Kings and Smough and Ornstein in Dark Souls. I quit playing for a long time because of both of them. Another one would be Alma in Ninja Gaiden. Pillar throwing whore! Sweet boobies though.

Sigma Megaman X3. You get the best armor. You got all the weapons. You got all the energy tanks filled up. All that's left is him. In the last fight, he's taken almost everything from you until you finally beat him because dodging him is a pain.

Patience, my friend. You just have to keep trying ... and concentrate.

I have a sort of "OCD" when it comes to video games which prevent me from using cheats to beat games. So I always beat my games fair and square. :P

..it wasnt a boss per sae but does anyone remember the 'jeep' level from Terminator 2: the arcade game on Sega Megadrive/Genesis?

It was without a doubt the most irritating piece of gaming i've ever encountered. The moment I finally beat that level was a moment of euphoria.

I thought this boss was really hard.

http://legaia.wikia.com/wiki/Lapis_%28Legend_of_Legaia_Boss%29

Ragu O' Ragla from Wild Arms 3 was pretty hard. You have to fight him twice in a row and he is all the way at the bottom of the abyss. It is 100 floors deep and once you are in there you can't save or leave and go back to where you left off.
