Wolfenstein 3D on PC. I was young so had no idea it was about Nazis and all that. Freaked me out when I'd open a door and there'd be a soldier waiting behind it!

Doom 2, but barely.

The first fps I played regularly was Halo.

Halo Combat Evolved. My PS2 broke so our dad got us (me and my siblings) an xbox that came with Halo 1 and 2. It seemed like a stupid game at the time and I hated the idea of a first person perspective. I had spent all my time playing Ratchet and Clank beforehand. They became the first games in a list of game that I would never sell and plus, Halo 3 was coming out soon at that time. FPS's are now almost all I play.
