Next generation consoles. What is your "strategy"?

Ok, since I'm going to buy a year-old second hand PC from a friend as soon as his ordered laptop comes in, I updated my strategy.
Besides that one, I'm planning on buying a Wii U in January 2014, and a PS4 in January 2015.

I'll use my Wii U only to play Nintendo titles. I'm setting my sights on the next Mario Kart and Zelda iterations for example, but also planning to buy some Wii gems I missed (like Xenoblade Chronicles) and some classic games on eshop.
Obviously PS4 for its exclusives.
For next-gen multiplatformers, it'll depend whether I'll get it on PC or on PS4 from game to agme. My guess is that the PC I'm getting and the PS4 will be roughly on par graphically in a few years, when they mastered the system a bit.
If it has co-op I'll definitely get it for PS4, same if it includes some great dualshock features.
