ANY Armored Core game. They're all great games, but they all have REALLY cheap bosses. Yeah, it makes it a challenge... but there's challenge, and then there's "I tried 50 times and still couldn't last 50 seconds".
That's bad in Armored Core Nexus. Ammo beat me on my first try. And it's like; "But he had a frickn' rocket launcher!! How can I beat him if he uses THAT?!"

Ugh, Nexus was just unfair. But have you tried last Raven? Hell on earth! The fight with Evangel borders on inhumane!
And don't get me started on 9-ball, every time he appears... grr.

Really? I'm a big junkie for bipedal high speed ACs, so Tanks are my favourite targets. I hate opponents who can fire shoulder cannons whilst moving, and thermal stress enemies. My life is dedicated to overcoming them
What sort of AC do you lean towards? (if any)

DMC3 annoyed the crap out of me.
With that game, they actually ramped the difficulty up from the Japanese release. The default "Normal" level was originally Hard. DMC3 became easier when I realised that you could go back and retake levels you'd already done without losing your accumulated skills, weapons and Red Orbs--effectively doubling up on the rewards from them.

I generally don't get frustrated with video games.
But I guess I'll admit that the X missions in Trauma Center: Under the Knife have made me want to put my stylus through the touch screen a few times.
Magically Starsign for DS has frustrated me a lot too. Not because it's hard or anything though. I just find myself cursing the localization team often. I mean, when I found "The Book of the Darned" I nearly cried. Book of the Darned? C'mon! XP

Duke Nukem: Zero Hour on N64
Even one of the gaming magazines or books (not sure which one) gave it a 9 of 10 frustration rating.
It's mainly because there are NO save points during the game, only when you complete the level. With the levels themselves been long, difficult aliens to kill and a nightmare to complete along with lots of hazard, it would drive anyone insane. I broke two controllers as a result of that damn game.
