I think the first game I've played was Super Mario World

A classic PC game: Jazz Jackrabbit. I've still got it! My first Playstation game was Crash Bandicoot (1). I couldn't get past the first pit ! Now, I'm missing ONE box for that ONE last Gem for that ONE last percent to clock the game! ARGH!! !

YES THIS GUY IS AWESOME lol well neways Final Fantasy 7 was the first game i played and the first game i beat at the age of 7 (wouldnt you know it) i kept playing it over and over again until i had found out about the gold chocobo from the chocobo sage, made one got all the materia including the master materias, i beat all the weapons (thanks go to a mime materia glitch i found heh repeated limit breaks by the same person) just think 100 omnislashes by cloud in a row anyways my next game was megaman legends which was a great game by my standards back then even if it holds no comparison to FFVII and i agree with what Thagomizer said all the best games are older ones that have good stories anyone remember Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross? Oh yeah and has anyone played Threads of Fate?

I played Final Fantasy VII before Chrono Trigger.

The first game I played on a system I owned was Chase HQ for the Commodore 64.

Galaga on the Atari 2600.

First game i ever watched (can't play,i start twitching and shaking) was Dooms' 1&2.
They're wonderful, i have a Doom obsession, my favourite was the goat guy (cyber- something, i think) he looks a bit like a goat with a rocket launcher. I need to find somone who like these so i can go and watch.
The only part of Doom i play is the first level of the second on as there is a secret room with a rocket launcher i can get, yey.
We also had a jet fighter thing, can't remember
Oh, and an old star wars game from late eighties, early nineties, when the films first came out which was great, though only the first couple of sections worked.

Pong.

PacMan, Ms PacMan, Galaga, Centipede, Donkey Kong, Tempest, Dig-Dug, you name it.

Later, moved on to hardcore flight sims and racing sims (Formula 1, FIA-GT, etc) and FPS's (Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon, Joint Operations, Operation Flashpoint), currently playing Guild Wars.

Starcraft was my first game on the PC and it's still my favorite. So many good memories.

It was a Pong style video game with a horisontal potentiometer controlled bat bouncing a square brick. It was the cause to forever loop myself into computer games. I think this was about late 70's. After that, I've been climbing european ladders in QW, Q1, Q2, and similar FPS games. My mid son is a demigod with railgun in Q2, and a pest to play with, because he rails me with aimbot precision even though frantic grapple hooking. He's a pain in the ass. He's 8 and has been offered clan play, due to his skills with FPS gaming. But he finds it more amusing to fry up dad with a scarely accurate rail in the face. Curious facts: It's one thing with toon or computer violence. Real life violence causes mental meltdown for him. Because it's real life and not a ficitive world.
