Yes, but only Kefka pretty much succeeded. Sephiroth was stopped before he got that far. Granted, Kefka only almost destroyed mankind, but he did become a god and came much closer to destroying mankind than Sephiroth did.

No, sorry, Kefka killed way more people than Sephiroth did. Even if you count what happened with Sephiroth as becoming a god, Kefka still wins in the evilness department.

Ok... I get your point there but why isn't Kefka in KH instead of Sephiroth. Its really all about people's opinions about the villains in the end.

If you notice both Kingdom Hearts games only have Final Fantasy characters from VII and up in them. The first didn't have any from IX.

I've played the Ps1 games without actually beating any, but my favorite characters were Cloud and Vincent from FF7, Selphie from FF8, and Vivi and Zidane from FF9.

As a side note: The remake of FFIV for the Nintendo DS really is phenomenal. They took the best game of the series and made it even better.

I really disliked Sephiroth, I didn't think he was that awesome of a villain, in my eyes he was kind of a pansy boy. Then again I wasn't a huge fan of FF7. I thought the game was borinng as a whole. The only character I enjoyed from the game was Yuffie. All the other characters made me want to yawn a million times or smack them in the face.

Lets see my favorite FF characters in the games would be;
Auron, Lulu, Rikku, Paine,Penelo,Fran,Yuffie, and Cyan.

I realize that I laugh at some of the lines that Reno has in Advent Children because he is kind of childish at times.

Sephiroth was definitely one of my favorite characters, in part because they made him so brilliant. I don't think he should have killed Aeris, though.

Mog and Setzer from FFVI. Quina from FFIX.

In general I don't like FF characters that much.
