It kind of anoyed me that they didn't put Mewtwo into Brawl, instead they put in Lucario, who apparently is very popular with the newbies to pokemon many who think Lucario is the best. Here is a comic that I think might be good for this discusion.

That comic is hilarious!

I don't mind the new pokémon (though I am annoyed with all the extra evolutions besides leafeon and glaceon...), one of my favorites is Mightyena for example (I love all the canine pokémon). It's weird because I really don't like change, but this doesn't bother me I guess because these new ones aren't replacing the old ones-so it's just adding more pokémon, not changing them.

And then there are gender differences...

I don't like them. Maybe it's mainly because it's a change, but...when I first heard about it I thought it was a cool idea, but I didn't like what they did to the pokémon. It made it so that one gender looked stupid, at least to me. I liked it better before the gender differences (well except for pokémon like Nidoran of course...)

But aside from that, I'm fine with the new games. And to answer the question in the thread title, my favorite pokémon is Scyther.

Hey, don't diss G&W... I was awesome with him...

G&W was a monster, and still is... he makes annoying sounds, and he doesn't integrate into the rest of the SSB world. The jerkiness of his motion annoys me.

Pfft, Kirby pwns everyone so meh. :P

Mewtwo and Dr Mario used to be my best characters on melee, kind of anoyed me that they removed both of them, mewtwo was a bit hard to use but, he was good for psychological strategy like teleporting quickly, throwing and short invisibility.

Gender differences is a bit different, not realy always a good thing, for example this pic shows one of my least favirout differences between genders.

I was just trying to prove how especialy with one of the newer pokemon the gender differentiation has, made some look like totaly different types, I dont know why they had to make the female Hippowdon have a fully black body giveing it a realy odd look. If you trying to ask what animal these were based off they are ground pokemon based off of a hippopotamus.

The jerkines of his motions is what gives him an air of unpredictability... which in turn allows me to hold my own against more seasoned players... and since I own neither a gamecube nor a wii, I only get the opportunity when I'm on somoene else's system...

Also, Hippowhat?

I think he's saying those aren't what he considers "real" Pokemon. Remember he only considers the originals "real"

^ The hippos seem to be among the worst, but then I don't know most of the Pokémon that came after Gold/Silver.

I wouldn't say abominations... it's just that if it has a number higher than 151, it's not a real pokémon, and if it has a number higher than 251, it's not a pokémon...
