I'm looking at purchasing 1-2 new games; Civ5 with the new expansion and/or this Skyrim I hear so much about!

I love a good single-person adventure/RPG!

Purchased God of War Saga from Gamestop on Monday. It has five great games and I'm enjoying them.

Rig n' Roll. What a POS. I thought it was a take on the 18 Wheels of Steel franchise, but nope, it's a 18 wheel racing game. I've been playing MSTS a lot recently, since some developers are coming out with a freeware train sim that is 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999998% compatible with any Train Sim addons.

I bought Battlefield 3, and it was awful. Every modern FPS I play is awful, so now I just buy them for the campaign, but that too was awful.

I need to try and get hold of the originals MoHs and CoDs, the real ones, not these online things.

I just got Mass Effect 2 for PS3 a few days ago :?

I played a run through it on insanity back when it was first released on 360, but sold it... so I recently decided to mess around with the game again, but on PS3 since it's gone down to $20 with almost all dlc included.

I really don't know why ME is such a big name... the game is okay, but it kind of just lingers in okay territory :?

Just as I remember, insanity feels like holding a position, and eliminating the most dangerous threats that storm you as quickly as possible, and in between such taking out the camping enemies in the distance. It only really changes up when there's a timer like an ally life bar depleting, in which it causes the player to rush to a destination while doing the above to protect the far away ally :?

I think the smidge of enjoyment I'm getting is slightly genre based... I have a hard time not liking roaming around and building a character though the game is quite limited in that regard... and the battles are tediously long and at times not particularly fair... which is some sort of masochistic enjoyment I suppose

I'm playing a soldier with mostly switching between assault rifle and sniper rifle... though I wish I remembered exactly when I can get the widow sniper rifle thing... that's a fun gun that I quite enjoyed sending heavy damage at alien heads >_>

My only actual complaint about the game... as mostly a sniper... I can't stand the aim-assist crap. It's not even in options to turn it off. So I'll line up a headshot in a fray of enemies and all of a sudden... the reticule starts darting all over :x

What constitutes "latest"?

If it is the most recently released title: Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

If it is the last game purchased: a copy of Crash Bash is on it's way to me from England.

Far Cry 3 PC. It's actually pretty fun. Just gotta find some Co-Op partners.
