I play a lot of old PC games. I'm currently playing Rome Total War, the Total Realism mod.

Anyone rate the newer Total War games at all?

I've been playing Sunset Overdrive. The game is a lot of fun with good humor.

Playing Dragon Orgins and then Awakening. After that the Witch Hunt DLC. I hope I can finish it all before I start playing Dragon Age inquisition that is released in the UK on 21st November.

i have been putting off metroid fusion since late july when i got very discouraged/frustrated at the SA X chase in sector 2 (where you have to freeze it with ice missiles while running to the left), i have just now picked it up again, and i got past that part with little trouble.

woot!

Grandia 3 - Mainly because I love the earlier games in the series, and because I've started it, and now must therefore complete it. :?

I'm also playing Lunar - Silver Star Story (the sega cd one) which is far more enjoyable. I've almost completed it.

I've learned my way to Act 7 of "Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom"... The length of the game being drawn out kind of reminds me of Metal Slug III. In MS3, the final stage is drawn out to being about 3/4 of the length of the game as a developer's joke. Act 5 in NG3, was long and intense enough to be the ending act, and then came Act 6, and now Act 7. I wouldn't be shocked if there's an eighth act by now. I like the game a lot, or I would have given up playing it quite early on, but I really can't play past Act 5 without taking an hour or two break... so to me, that says they stretched the game out far too long to not implement a save or password function.

I'm also fooling around in "Legendary Wings". I don't know if my hands can handle playing that game through, but it is rather fun. I got to the first level's end boss(I died) after quite a few fatiguing attempts, and came to the conclusion, that it was probably designed to sell turbo controllers like the MAX or Advantage. The best I have is the Dogbone controller, which I had to switch to because the old style one was digging into my hands when holding a good enough grip to rapidly tap the the fire button.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles (I'm going through all of the 2D Sonic games.) and Rayman Origins, which I just picked up yesterday. I'm also almost finished with New Super Mario Bros. Wii, but I can't finish it because my father is on a nostalgia trip and doesn't want me to play it without him. :?

King's Field, PS1.

Not bad at all for a mid-1990s game, and with enough FPS type elements to be an interesting experience.

Seems to be virtually impossible to find these days. Anyone know where I could get a UK (PAL) version of King's Field 2?
