Jon Irenicus from Baldur's Gate 2, for being a bad guy with his own motivations and goals. Rather than existing solely to thwart the player.

^^Greetings everyone. I believe that many video game characters are very lovely, however I believe that perhaps my favourite characters are Sonic the Hedgehog and Amaterasu (from Okami).

I have too many favorite game characters to count, but one of my top favorites is Meracle Chamlotte from Star Ocean The Last Hope. She's very cute, odd, and obnoxious. I like alot of other characters though I just have no idea where to start

I guess a few others would be Death's Hand, Sun Kin, and Sun Li from Jade Empire... and... there's just too many and I don't want to make a long list

Nowadays the 'No More Heroes' franchise screams in my ear and I cannot ignore it; 'No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle only served to validate my fanboy following of the franchise. Some of my favourite NMH2 characters are:

Charlie Macdonald.

His fight was so unique; no one would've predicted it to be a robot battle without reading spoilers first.
Also, I just learned a few minutes ago that there is a real life soccer star by the same name as well. Interesting!

Kimmy Howell.

Fun fight and her obsession with Travis is hilarious. Her use of MySpace metalanguage, eg. OMG, lulz, etc., reminds me so much of my former colleagues.

Dr. Letz Shake.

Needless to say, after Henry ruined the fight with Letz Shake in the first game I was pretty stoked to have him make a comeback in the form of a full and proper battle. Another unique and fun fight but that's not to say I don't lose every so often!

New Destroyman.

Another welcome comeback since Destroyman was my favourite boss from the inaugural No More Heroes game. His catchphrase ("You're as good as dead.") is catchy as ever, but if someone could tell me how to effectively beat him in Deathmatch mode... PLEASE LET ME KNOW!?

Margaret Moonlight.

Goths are awesome.
