Guilty Gear has a lot of obsessive characters with poor to no social skills. :) Actually, many fighting-games have charas that seem aspie.

Suikoden 5, Zweig. And possibly Prof. Babbage.

I love Lucretia's introduction of Zweig. "Well, he's not exactly evil, not as such. At least he won't kill you... Not at once. I hope."

Larry Laffer probably has AS. He lived at home with his mother until he was 40, and didn't lose his virginity before then either. He is obsessed with sex, and is never in a long-term relationship.

I agree with Link whole- heartedly. Reasons:

1. He concentrates on nothing but helping people and saving Hyrule/Koholint/Labrynna/Holodrum.
2. He doesn't speak to anyone, and prefers to work on his own.
3. He's adept at using his mind to solve puzzles, whatever they may be.
4. He doesn't react emotionally to events being described to him (Hyrulian War, Ganondorf took over Hyrule, etc.)
5. He has few friends.

Another character I'd like to add, however, is Geno from Super Mario RPG. Reasons:

1. Obsessed with repairing the Star Road.
2. Attempts to take on Bowyer without help.(Prefers to work alone)
3. Doesn't talk unless necessary or giving an explanation.

How about Nancy Drew from the Nancy Drew games? She's quiet, just goes along with others, tries to please everyone, and she is obsessed with trying to solve the case. She puts off friends and doesn't eat until she has solved a case. :P So she could be ... right?

Honestly, I don't think there are any aspie video game characters, autism is not known that far outside our community yet, and what little bit it is known is rooted in institutional ableistic superiority complexes of the majority abled NT people.
There are some TV characters though who've got tons of aspie characteristics, such as Dilbert, Urkel, Screech (from saved by the bell, although I can't stand that show)....

I'm thinking Gordon Freeman in Half Life might be an aspie..
he's quiet and is a leading professor in quantum physics.. not to mention his not really showing much emotional difference in big "Tragedies"

How about Link? Brave, couragous, easily surprised, uses tactics and sticks to his goal, shows a ridiculous amount of loyalty to Zelda, he's a strong silent type - certainly doesn't talk much... and he never seems to end up getting any of the girls who like him.

There's 3 I can think of in Baten Kaitos who might be aspie...

1: Kalas
Kalas is a bit of a toughened up, albeit insecure outcast... he's very courageous and will go to any lengths to achieve his goal. He ain't too good in social situations, and has a tendency to be angry... possibly due to feelings of intimidation.

Has these illusional thoughts I'm sure of him thinking 'Can't feel or act like that it'd show weakness' which is quite an aspie thing to do... from my perspective. He wants a straight answer and it frustrates him when there's all this awkward detail in what others say.

I think Kalas may well be aspie... the sort of 'resistant to authority' type who exaggerates due to his own insecurities. He finds it very hard to trust people.

He also doesn't show much emotion besides frustration, and he'll never admit to it but deep down he cares for his companions.

2: Lyude
Lyude is also another real possible aspie - he's a bit opposite to Kalas in some ways - whereas Kalas covers up his insecurities with anger and frustration, Lyude is a very sensitive type. A polite guy who is very loyal... however he too has tendencies to find it difficult to trust people.

A bit of a pushover in some situations, but that didn't prevent him from becoming a high ranking Officer in the Empire... but his moral fibre left him a feeling of guilt and he couldn't stand the evil that was being displayed... he stood up for the rights of miners infront of the Emporer, which got him exiled and demoted to Ambassador.

He's very easily put down, and gets depressed quite easily. Although his talents in music are strong.

3. Mizuzi:
Some bizarre creature who's really quite strange lol. A genderless child of some ancient civilisation... incredibly manic and hyper... probably finds it hard to focus... would be difficult to hold a decent conversation with it... thinking about it though Mizuzi may be more ADHD than Aspie.
