Ninja Gaiden (XBOX, not the BLACK version). Seriously. I played this game for three days. On the fourth day, I realized that save point that I was currectly at (somewhere at the beginning of the third level i think) was surrounded by those stupid ninjas. Every time I loaded my game, I'd get my ass handed to me within 3 seconds. I don't remember being so frusterated in my entire life. This is the only game I have ever played that actually inspired REAL hatred.

Jagged Alliance games. One of my absolute favourite tactical/strategy games, but it's one of those games where you have to save/reload a lot. Gets even worse in that regard with the expansion packs.

I tried to play that a few years back. It's really neat in that it's really open ended. But it just got to be impossible for me after maybe a dozen hours. It seemed like I was completely outmanned and out gunned.
