If you want lots of lives before defeating the main boss of Sonic 3, in Launch Base Zone (act 1), move Sonic to the alarms you can find throughout the level, and then do a spin dash. The robotic birds will fly straight into you one by one, giving you loads of points and lives.

On the subject of Sonic 3, on Carnival Night Zone Act 2, I lost 3 lives, running out of time, figuring out how to get past the infamous barrel 'puzzle'. I only figured it out by frantically mashing the buttons on my joypad, and I figured that you could press up and down to move the barrel.

In Hitman 2, the numerous pizza boxes that litter the basement floor in the "Basement Killing" level are printed with the Danish text "ægte pizza med lort på", which translates to "genuine pizza, with sh** on it".

Several of the security doors in the game Half-Life have "Security 7G" written on them. This is a reference to The Simpsons, where Homer Simpson is Safety Inspector for Sector 7-G of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.

Destroy All Humans 2:
If you choose to fight the godzilla-like monster on foot rather than with the saucer, Crypto will begin to sing "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny".

You can do the same thing with the original Half-Life disc. (I'm guessing a lot of video games you can.)

The first Final Fantasy game (in its original NES release) had only one single battle music, and the second game in the series (as originally numbered), as released on the NES, only had two battle musics, a standard battle music and a final boss music. However, when the games were re-released, the original Final Fantasy gained 3 'boss battle' musics and a final boss battle music, while Final Fantasy II gained two 'boss battle' musics.

I suck at GTA. Well, not a well known fact, but one that has to do with video games.

In the Metroid Prime games, Samus Aran is 'voiced' by Jennifer Hale, who supplies her grunts and screams....

There's floating suits of armour in the first Spyro game.

I know :P

To reiterate, what I actually meant was...

Lord Saddler in RE4 uses Las Plagas as a tool to manipulate people to his own will.

In FFTA, there's a Bangaa who gets mad when Marche calls him a lizard.
