I really don't know my worst video game yet but I know all the Final Fantasy games were awesome to play and they do not seem very hard. Also all the Kingdom Hearts games were cool as well with fun things to do.

Three pages in and no one has mentioned E.T. for the Atari 2600? Easily the worst game ever made.

I agree. I never knew what to do in that game. Very frustrating.

The Lion King for SNES. 12 very difficult levels, and if you lost all your lives and continues you had to start over from level 1. My sister was the only one in our family who was able to beat it.

The SMS version was just as bad. So full of flaws.

tetris, mario is missing, Dr. Mario, Disney World (NES), ring king, Duck Hunt, that stupid little karate game where fighter in white gi fights fighter in red gi, Virtua Fighter 1, (though the later versions are much better), Battle Arena Toshinden, there was this racing game I played where you had absolutely no handling on your vehicle at all but I can't remember the name of that one, it was on PS or PS2 though......., 3 stooges (NES), I think that's about all I can think of at the moment but I'm sure when I'm a bit more sober I could probably think of a lot more though....
It seems like more of the sucky games were earlier games, although some earlier games were very good. I loved this game I had called Faxanado (not many people know this game, it is a candidate for the 1st rpg ever though, NES game). Battle of Olypus was also a great game back in the 8 bit days.

Faxanadu (might be misspelling that) was nowhere near the first RPG ever. Not even close. It was really fun when I rented it though.

Worst recent game I've played was Wii Sports. I can't recall ever playing a worse pack in game. (I know some people love it, but it's just not my thing.)

Games I like:
Most all of the Castlevania games, especially once they went 3D
All the metroid games
the lower grade legend of zelda games, from SNES down.
Resident Evil series of games, (and Silent Hill, which is kinda a rip-off of resident evil but it has an interesting storyline),
I like Metal Gear Solid (except part 2, where you played Raiden, that whole game was a corny monstrosity and embarassment to the MG games). I like tenchu, I like splinter cell, I like road rash, mortal kombat games, tekken games, more recent virtua fighter games, Killer Instinct, I like GTA 3 and on (although there are too many GTA wanna-be's running around the market and that gets slightly irritating), I like Max Payne, Medal of Honor, Need for Speed, Sim City series of games (no s**t I can play Sim City all day long for a week straight).

There are a lot of bad games out there...
Thankfully I've stayed away from them for the most part.

I think the most crap game I've ever had was a little known SNES title called Metal Morph.
Game made no sense. Character dies with one hit(I hate such games in general). The space flight battles were basically unplayable so I never got really far even though I tried.

It was a worthless game so i took a hammer to it just for the heck of it.

I had that Tommorow Never Dies for the PS also. That was pretty bad too.

I never really liked those Dragon's lair games either, though I've only played the arcade one...

Something that bothers me just as much as a game that's just plain bad is a game that would be good, but is too hard. I've played SO many games that I would have enjoyed if not for how hard they are. Most recently stuff like the last DS Castlevania game and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and Elebits. All would be good games if I could actually play them to completion.

Good but too hard?

I'd probably say something like Ninja Gaiden or Guilty Gear. They're great games but they continually kick my ass. I've only finished Ninja Gaiden once and haven't had the patience to finish it again afterwards. Guilty Gear games can sometimes became insanely hard. I have XX and though I've managed to finish all player routes proper, there's no way i can do the mission modes or get very far in survival mode(which brings up another thing for me, but I better not de-rail the thread).

The DS Castlevania(Dawn of Sorrow or Portrait of Ruin?) hard? Maybe if one isn't used to those games, but Circle of the Moon on the GBA was much harder by comparison.

I have Elebits but I never really got into it. Neat game though.

For me, I found Circle of the Moon (and all the GBA games) much easier than the two DS games. I only beat the first DS one with tons of healing items and leveling up, and then when I discovered I'd have to do the same for the sequel (which for me is no fun at all), I quit playing.

I really, really think the dificulty in a lot of games is something that's going to have to change.

the first EA NHL game on the Genesis... the gimme goals were just too much
WCW Nitro for the PC. >erk<
Come to think of it... ANY fighting game for the PC.
Dungeons & Dragons on the old Atari 2600.

And those are just a few....

Taboo: The Sixth Sense, for the original NES.

That was basically a psychic/tarot game that went virtually nowhere.

And for the record, I consider card games in videogames to be a bad idea. I've never played one that I liked. As side items in games they're at most a mild distraction to just get a few necessary items, but ultimately worthless as sidequests to pursue on their own.
