Amiibo details: Nintendo announced a new series of amiibo figures specific to the game that includes Link with a bow (“Archer”), Link on horseback (“Rider”), and a “Guardian” that is the first amiibo with flexible parts. The existing Wolf Link amiibo works with the game as well: When players tap a Wolf Link amiibo to the Wii U GamePad controller, Wolf Link will attack enemies on his own and help players to hunt. He has three hearts, unless players carry over save data from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Wolf Link disappears when his hearts run out.

More than 100 Shrines of Trials dot the landscape, waiting for players to discover and explore them in any order they want. As players work their way through the traps and puzzles inside, they’ll earn special items and other rewards that will help them on their adventure. Puzzles in the game often have multiple answers, and secrets can be found everywhere. Exploration and discovery are a huge part of the fun.

Dungeons still exist too

...viewers will get their first look at a new Mario Party game for Nintendo 3DS that includes additions and changes to make it much more fast-paced and portable-friendly – players no longer have to wait for their turn, as everyone moves at once. Mario Party Star Rush launches Nov. 4.

Tomorrow Treehouse live is doing other games and some more Zelda.

All kidding aside, I was just starting to forget how excited I was for this game, and how long we have to wait to play it =|

Pokemon Go Plus (Device) cost $35 and is aiming for a July Launch.
Pokemon Go is still free to play without the device.

Trading will be implemented later.

Each Pokemon gives you candies, which is required to power up your Pokemon and evolve them.
You must catch Pokemon to get the candies.

Ever Oasis is the new IP from Nintendo and Grezzo

It's an ARPG/dungeon crawler/Town builder/Adventure

The battle system is real time action based
The game is filled with dungeons and side quests, which you get resources to build new buildings and level up existing buildings in your Oasis.
Your parties consist of 3 characters of your choosing

The developer at Grezzo was a key member on FF1-3,FFXI, and the Mana series.
He created a lot of the characters for those games and the job system for Final Fantasy.



Release date is TBD

BoxBoy 2 coming this year to 3DS in the West.
The Western name is BoxBoxBoy

Dragon Quest VIIR is due out on 9/16 on 3DS.

Announced for EU, AUS and Japan.

It's launching alongside Pokemon in November.
Also the EU is getting Steelbooks alongside the regular versions for Pokemon.

It's got a lack of activity mostly because it became more of a pure "news reel" thread after the mod forced you to squash things into one unnecessarily. It's hard to get a conversation going within a topic of this sort; more of the sort of thread that just gets read, not replied to. That and this forum is just bloody slow to begin with.

That being said, I have one of my own to add, just a minor bit, which is that Splatoon's final Splatfest is approaching, at the end of the month. No more of them after that.

Also the Marie and Callie Amiibos launch this Friday in North America, as does the new boy, girl and orange squid ones.

I beat the prologue on #FE, which took an hour.
The game is fun and unique for those looking for a Wii U RPG or an RPG in general.
