Pong, down at the bowling alley. Fortunately, behind the bowling alley was a grassy field where the high-school kids used to party, and nearby was a recycling center where I could sell the bottles from the field for Pong money. (Yes, boys and girls, there was once a time when nobody checked IDs on people buying beer at the gas station...)

The first one I played on a home system was probably Pac-Man on the Sears ripoff of the Atari 2600.

My very first game was CD-MAN (clone of PAC-MAN for IBM PC) and I played it at father's office. Later my family bought 8-bit computer "Mikrosha" - it was possible to play some games from tape recorder in text mode (such as Xonix, Tetris and Soviet clones of Space Invaders and Lode Runner) and even run BASIC; I was 5 years old but could load program from tape manually. I still remember such retro PC games as Commander Keen, Dave, Tetris, Captain Comic, Revenge of DoH, Prince of Persia, Supaplex etc... It was very common to bring new games on 5'' floppies... Nostalgia :)

P.S. I almost forgot about electronic pocket games such as "Rally" and "Nu, Pogodi". So funny stuff!

I can't rember which one. It was an Atari, probably in 1982. Asteroids and Space Invaders were a couple of games I used to play.

Metroid II for the original Gameboy. I'd die, and I'd get so upset I would slam my head into hardwood tile and scream. My parents had to take measures so I wouldn't give myself a concussion. That was when I was 4.

I can't remember what my first game was. It would have been a Colour Genie game. Probably Pacman or something.

I think it was Super Metroid on SNES.

That's what I remember playing as a kid.

That was so long ago...but my best guess is the old Super Mario/Duck Hunt for the NES.
