Another question: how long do level ups tend to take? I don't like RPGs where it takes hours to reach the next level.

To get to lv 30, expect lots of games. My lv 25 account has 100 wins, to give you an example, and it will still be a while until it reaches lv 30. And lost games also give experience.

I'd say, just play and enjoy yourself. If you do that, you'll reach lv 30 without realizing it.

@Ridicuul : LoL is known for it's terrible community, and I don't know if it's really better on NA. However, since you're mainly playind AD, try to find a good support and then DuoQ, it's probably the best option. Not easy since this role isn't rellay liked though.

@Sanity : in RPGs you usually level up because you can't win otherwise, which is not the case in LoL. The only advantage it brings is runes at level 20 (NEVER buy runes before level 20, try to save around 10k PIs for it) and masteries. It doesn't change everything and you shoudln't be against high level anyway. So it doesn't really matter.

Haha, so true. I'm mainly a support player... and as everything suggests, Leona is my main. :p
What supports do you play the most ?

I played all the supports, and even though I can play everything, I really dislike the defensive ones.

@Leona, I tried the free rammus (jungle) and played with my Janna a bit. It went a lot better. Surprise or not, the LoL community wasn't happy enough so I saw a lot of raging. Either way, I'm happy with the scores I got and the way I played. I'll still try Ashe in dominion though. Which I mostly play against intermediate bots at the moment, but still fun.

Yup, defensive supports are boring. I play mostly Janna, Lulu and Blitzcrank. Like them all because they can move really fast, have amazing CC, and are good at zone control and harassing in general. I prefer shields than heals, too.

I really want to learn to play Alistar too. He's supremely annoying; as a good support should be . More than once, I've been focused over the carry out of sheer hate, and as I build tanky, that makes the team win

@Rudicuul : players will never be happy :p Playing botlane alone is a lot harder, too.

@Shatbat : Alistar needs a so good timing for his basic engaging combo headbutt + atomisation it's really hard ^^. Though he really needs to be against a squishy lane (I mean, good to have bush control, but when the supp can facecheck with 100 armor and 80 MR at level 4, it's not really good for you. xD).

I love playing as Leona in bot lane with someone like Corki, Graves or Ez who can give a good burst.
As soon as I hit lvl 2-3 I Zenith blade their carry and stun 'em doing ton of damage already while my carry does his burst, which usually forces a flash/heal from them.
Nobody can't seem to remember that she can pull through creeps.

I love playing aggressive supports all around like Blitz - I'm not yet confident on Alistar since I always screw up the headbutt combo, I always ban him since he can really easily screw up everything once he get mobility boots and roams to mid. I used to love playing aggressive Janna, but the down pour of nerfs hit her too hard. Heimer support is also quite hilarious.

When you have a support that's the dominant pick in both SR and Dom at the time, it's inevitable, yea?

i played bots twice.

thats it. granted im only level 8, but I win more than i lose. also im just a sucker playing the same unlocked hero for the last 15 games or so. Since i figures getting decent at 1 hero was a better than playing 25 different ones once, and still suck at them
