Thanks to Youtube I've seen plenty of really bad games that I've never played. Thank god. Sometimes I wonder how the people playing or reviewing them can stand it unless they're medicating themselves.

I generally don't play bad games so instead of naming the worst game I've ever played, I'm going to name the game that disappointed me the most and that game is Command & Conquer 2: Tiberium Sun. The first C&C was my intro into real time strategy games and I just loved it. I C&C2 was my most anticipated game back then. Unfortunately, it did not even come close to living up to expectations.

Alan Wake is the first to come to mind. I got about a half hour in and gave up. It wasn't scary. The battle set-up was obnoxious. Alan Wake was a knob. I ended up watching Gopher's playthru and I was glad I didn't finish the game. The ending tried so hard to be dramatic that it was hilarious. "It's not a lake.... It's an OCEAN!" lol wat?

I'm sure there's worse games I've played, but they were probably so terrible I played for a few minutes and then forgot them. I tend to avoid the games that are technical disasters.

I remember Alan Wake for, I thought the storyline/premise to be interesting but, the gameplay always having to keep up with multiple objectives..

Probably Pro Rally for the Gamecube. I don't even remember how I ended up with the thing. The only entertainment I got out of it was deliberately trying to fall through the world.

Oh, and Final Fantasy XIII. I wanted everyone except Sazh and Fang to die horribly.

this is an easy one.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Maybe it is a decent game. My older son sends me an e-mail that I have to get this game, and that I'll really like it.
Less than 10 minutes into it, I got the worst case of motion sickness I've ever had. I didn't even have to move around. It was wavy and distorted and moving around like I the character was drunk or had just spun in circles for six hours. The little rascal (he was 23 at the time) knew I would have that reaction. Quite the joker he is.

Did you ever see the Atari: Game Over? If you have Netflix, they have it for streaming.

I don't really know if that game could be considered bad. Some people claim it as a guilty pleasure. The best part is driving backwards. If you took all of the things that made this game bad, or in other cases, memorably hilarious, you'd just be left with a basic average truck driving game.

I think the first call of duty on the PC was the worst imo, at that time I was used to driving games so I was expecting vehicle to drive in as well as shooting at the same time, started hating the series because of the incessant shooting and nothing else to do.

As far as handheld consoles go, Zelda Link to the past was the worst by far, the game gave me no hint of where to go, I was stuck in the same area, and never got past the beach or wherever it was.

And lastly consoles, I think the worst game would be ecco on the dreamcast, again no hint of where to go, may aswell have been one of those games that are made to not be beaten or make any progress.

Do you perhaps mean Link's Awakening? A Link to the Past has no beach area....and if you got lost that easily either way, I'd steer clear of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask ( Water Temple and Great Bay Temple respectively...very confusing dungeons even with a guide )....

Go ahead and hate...worst I played include:

Zelda: Skyward Sword
Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Zelda II
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Assassin's Creed III
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
every Call of Duty ever
Steel Diver
the PSP Ratchet & Clank games
Super Time Force
Elder Scrolls Oblivion ( BORING )
Witcher 2 ( BORING )
F-Zero Maximum Velocity
Lost Planet 3
Devil May Cry 2

hehe I enjoyed a few of these. LP 3 was great.

I've played a lot of crappy free to play games. None of them are worth mentioning (mostly because I can't remember their names lol).

I agree This guy insult Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion That is by far my favorite game in the franchise (Yes, Even skyrim). I don't know if this guy has played that game very much. Though I'd admit at the begining it is boring. Image

when i was in aout 3rd grade, i rented happy feet for the gamecube lmao. i finished it in about half an hour, and i was pretty lusyatgames back then, haha! it was super boring and if you couldnt beat a part, it would just let you skip it.

also, bugs life for the n64 was pretty sucky too imo. wouldnt be so bad if you didnt have to restart the entire game as soon as you die

I don't think its the worse but a bad one I have played recently is Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures.

I get that its satire towards crap NES games, but the creators of this game took it too far in a few areas and the game comes across as broken in these areas. Some examples, controller support is nonexistent, the game pops in and out of fullscreen randomly, there are areas that force you to take damage, etc
