What's The BEST video game you've ever played?

The Last Of Us is a really great game. The opening is particularly a tearjerker. You should definitely check it out if you get the chance.

Chrono Trigger.

Story, characters, battle system, pacing, music = perfection!

I couldn't decide between System Shock 2 and Final Fantasy XII.

Soul Calibur II is still the ultimate fighting game in my eyes. I've played some great ones but nothing quite like that. Not even the sequels could measure up.

Final Fantasy IX, Radiata Stories, Xenosaga: Episode I and Donkey Kong Country 2 are also some of the greatest games I've ever played.

Best? I dunno, there's been a few real gems. Don't think I could pick just one.

Either Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance or XCOM Enemy Within.

Uncharted games, Professor Layton: Pandora's Box, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Telltale's The Walking Dead, and The Last Of Us.

This is hard, it's between Geometry Dash, Osu or i wanna be the guy but i will have to say i wanna be the guy because it's really hard and an old game.

i don't see how you guys can pick favorites, it's really not something i can do. i'll name games that i have greatly enjoyed the past year:
terraria (approaching 400 hours)
the neverhood
metroid prime trilogy
a link to the past
skullmonkeys
super metroid
grim fandango.


also i would like to point out that skullmonkeys has a GOAT soundtrack (but a less GOAT password system).

Haven't played it, but heard of it.

I always found it interesting every Sims 2 game on different console seems to have a different story.

I personally love the Sims 2 on PSP, which is you getting stranded and deciding to live in a mansion in Strangetown and discover all its mysteries.

A little predictable, but otherwise very nice atmosphere it had.

I've been wondering if that game would be worth trying out.

i would say BIG FAT YES!

I figured as much what with the 400 hours invested in the game. I've watched some Lets Play episodes of it and it certainly looks interesting.

just waiting for 1.3.1 to come out...taking almost as long as 1.3 itself...

need for speed III: hot pursuit on PS1 has a special place, for being my very first.

This is an almost impossible question to answer. If online chess counts I would have to go with it.

However, if I had to choose one true video game it would have to be League of Legends. I have been playing since beta, and the game is quite good.
