And on the note of Isaac, screw the damn "Beans!" challenge. SCREW IT WITH A FORK. Ugh. It lacks the aggravation of the damn hairball challenge (which I eventually finished), but replaces it with INTENSE BOREDOM by giving you the absolute slowest way to damage things in the game (fart on things. No, seriously). Just..... WHY? Ugh.

You get 99 bombs on that challenge. Use them.

Did that. I get too impatient and start just throwing the damn things at everything. Not to mention that some bosses (Bloat) are a bit difficult (Bloat) to do even with (Bloat) those. .....also things have to sit still for some time to actually get hit by those. Normally, I never, ever use bombs as weapons because they're just WAY too slow to explode. Being as that challenge doesnt actually give anything of particular importance (a trinket I'd never use anyway) and as I couldnt care less about achievements to begin with (always thought the concept was dumb; in many games I actively avoid getting them), I'll probably just skip it and move on to other ones that dont take 50 billion years.

Probably not going to do ANY of the "blindfolded" challenges aside from the hairball one, as I've a feeling they're all going to be about the same (as in, take an eternity to complete); even the hairball one, I only fully finished it because I got Bob's Brain almost immediately, and just used that the entire time instead of the hairball. Otherwise.... yeah, no. My patience would have snapped immediately.

Child of Light on Kinect or with a controller? I wanted that game at one point, but the interest quickly dies if I don't have it right away. Hit or miss, really.

Though the game I'm currently playing is Bloodborne, and Final Fantasy XIV is just on hold until Heavensward releases.

Picked up a game called Waking Mars on a Steam sale that promises to be a thoughtful, exploration-oriented game. We'll see. Just sitting down to start playing it while bored on Easter weekend.

A heavily modded PC version of Fallout 3. It's my current "holo-deck".

I love the open world Bethesda games!

Eagerly awaiting the announcement of Fallout 4 (hopefully in June).

I'm trying to get into Il-2 Sturmovik, having fun learning about WW2 planes.

Minecraft (PC). Had the single absolute stupidest death in all the time I've had the game (since just before Alpha).

I find a stronghold by accident, so I do a whole pile of stuff to prepare for the dragon fight. All sorts of important things. I've got enchanted armor, enchanted bow, healing stuffs, and a variety of other things. Once ready, I head back to the portal room. I had left the silverfish spawner alone, figuring, if the devs give the things items that they drop later on, I'll have the spawner right there and wont have to spend a zillion years trying to find the things! But I wasnt entirely paying attention to them; one of them hopped in the portal. I finish off a stupid creeper that naturally just HAD to make an entrance, and then it's time to head to the End. Jump in the portal, the End is formed, and my stupid obsidian platform just HAPPENS to have spawned out over the void instead of on the island. Spawned with me and that ONE silverfish. One. Damn. Silverfish. It hits me ONCE, about 2 seconds after I'd spawned in the End. Just ONE hit, and BAM, it's over, down I go, and of course a death in the void means you lose EVERYTHING you were carrying.

Because of that ONE stupid little twerp, which is the monster type with the absolute weakest attack in the game (it's meant to attack in hordes) and low health. Just.... one. And I've got all that armor and stuff and it just didnt matter...

Uuuuugh.

I did go back there and do the damn dragon fight, with new equipment and such, nearly died like 3 times during THAT, I'd forgotten that the horrid thing hits like a freight train and the Endermen, they are everywhere and it's very hard to NOT manage to catch one of them (or five of them) in the crosshairs, making them go berserk, and ugh. Barely finished the damn thing after about a billion years. The blasted crystals, a couple of them had spawned on the tallest towers in the history of... towers.

Just... argh. Most idiotic death in that game yet. Die because of a single hit from the weakest thing! I doubt I can top that one. And of course that's just the dragon, the Wither and the Elder Guardians havent been fought at all yet (they at least can be done more than just once). Aint doing those yet. Need waaaayyyyyy better equipment before I attempt those.

Ooh, which romhack? :D

Speaking of oldschool games, lately I've been getting back into Warcraft II, also a modded version. I versed the AI in one game and did pretty well, but going up against two AIs, I clearly need to improve my strategy. :P

Dwarf Fortress. Currently in the process of dealing with world generation and site selection.

And hoping that the computer doesnt explode in the process.

WELL THAT WAS A MONSTROUS WASTE OF TIME.

Forgot to turn the #!%*ing aquifers off. This immediately reminded me of WHY I always turn them off. So.... annoying... gonna have to do that whole process all over again.
