I had been tooling around on Skyrim for awhile, but now I might pick up where I left off in Alien: Isolation. I picked up the remastered Grim Fandango during a Steam sale, so I might jump into that too.

Enjoying IL-2: Sturmovik. I've gotten into the game to the extent that I am now an avid consumer of fascist WW2 newsreels, to help me identify Axis planes on my crappy monitor at long ranges.

gave up on Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright, it just wasn't holding my attention ( great game though...just too much else to play that feel more exciting to me )...and just downloaded Army of Two: Devil's Cartel for free on Xbox 360 so I'll be trying that soon.

I'm seeing if I can manage completing team mission mode offline in "Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2". I'm not sure it's possible to play caretaker for the game's clumsy AI co-op partner's life bar and manage to beat the higher difficulty missions, but I can't see the harm in trying. Whether I beat it, or I cannot, "Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge" looks to be next.

Sweet! Gamefly shipped Kirby & the Rainbow Curse, so I get to play that soon! Only way I could be more excited about it is if I could find a Dedede Amiibo ( I have Kirby & Meta Knight )

Dipping back into this after a long absence, replaying levels in an attempt to get 100%...

...as if that ever happens with me.

Playing some classic Double Dragon on MAME, a hacked Japanese version that corrects some of the game's notorious sluggishness. Its amazing how fast these ret*d thugs can demolish you when its running at full speed.

Well I WAS playing some Minecraft, when the demented pile of metal and such that I call my "computer" went into "deranged maniac" mode (again), which is when the USB stuffs and a variety of other dying parts start flipping out at random. Ugh.

This damn thing is a freaking joke at this point. It really is about time I obliterate- er, I mean.... replace it with a new one.

When I do that though, I need to NOT have it built by drunken monkeys with hammers. Wasnt put together quite right to start with, so it's just been this slow spiral of stupidity for.... quite a long while now. Some parts are already utterly dead. Feh. I wouldnt use ANYONE on the freaking Net to build a machine, but there's nobody anywhere remotely near home that can do it.

Ugh. Until I have a chance to get this replaced.... in the next couple of months I hope.... probably time to start using the laptop (which so far always works perfectly and is very sturdy) more. Just dont like the smaller screen, but.... whatever.

I'm just lucky it waited until AFTER I'd gotten out of the monument before it went bonkers. I'd not been in one before. I have hyper-enchanted diamond & iron armor (2 of each). And the Guardians still hit like freaking trucks with their horrible deathrays as if the armor was paper (AND I take damage when hitting them if their spikes are out; gotta use a sword, arrows dont work right underwater). To use a Simpsons quote: "The goggles, they do nothing!". AND they're super fast. And I cant break any blocks until the 3 Elder Guardians are beaten (which hit even harder). And all of this entirely underwater in a structure that's a tangled maze. Just... yeesh. I knew these monuments were very specifically designed to be "end-game" areas, but I hadnt expected just how dangerous they are. Ended up having to escape and run from the place before getting all 3 Elders down.

I applaud the devs on this particular content. It's bloody excellent.

Yeah, I liked it. But something about the crudity of the original appeals to me more, especially the sound effects.

All sorts of advanced modern games at my disposal, and I keep coming back to these.

Last night, I played a game of Muppet Party Cruise on the PS2 to relive some nostalgia. The game is basically an actually decent Mario Party clone.

I also played a game of SSB4 on the 3DS to wait for the beginning of class.

Right now I'm playing everyone's favorite game, "WHY IS WINDOWS SUCH A COMPLETE EMBARRASSMENT?" where you try to figure out what damn stupid thing it's doing that it's not supposed to be doing.

Really, it gets ridiculous at some points. My theory has always been that they created it by sitting a bunch of unbelievably drunk, blindfolded monkeys in front of keyboards, and then having them just bash the keyboards with their faces for a year until an OS pops out.

I'd just fire up one of the consoles instead, but.... ugh. So few games on those. Dont feel like Pokemon right now either, after doing the "fight 80 battles against really weak things to get one specific Pokemon to show up" event from earlier in the night. I hate when it does that. I got the little snot eventually though.
