"Flame Wheel and Flare Blitz work while frozen. They also cure the freeze when used."

So does Sacred Fire, but you wouldn't see that as often. All three cure freeze on the user and the target of the move, although I can't think of how the situation of two frozen Pokémon would be likely to happen.

There is always 2 on 2, this means you may want to rethink if you told your Feraligatr to use Ice Beam, and your Typhlosion to use Flame Wheel.

Blizzard does hit everyone in a double battle, and I have seen two Pokemon frozen at the same time from it, just once, in Pokemon XD. And that was rare, since every battle in that game is a double battle.

Anyway, umm... so I'm going through Leaf Green again for the third time, since I want Raikou. Here's my party so far:

Wartortle
Pikachu
Golbat
Diglet
Flareon, when I get one.
???

I'll be keeping Wartortle as he is for quite some time, since I intend to make him a rain dancing hydropump user as a Blastoise, and Blastoise does not learn Hydro Pump until a ludricous level 68 (had I planned ahead more, I'd have kept Squirtle. Oops.) Pikachu will also be using Thunder instead of Thunderbolt, but with it raining, I don't see a problem.

Any ideas for the last party member? I was thinking Eggsecutor. Right now I'm just gaining Diglet a few levels to make Lt. Surge cry like a baby man.

"When in doubt, use a big Normal type with Return." :)

Not really a big deal when you're just going through the game, though. I'd try to get something sleep-inducing in there, but I recommend just grabbing something you like and have fun with it.

I was thinking if it was based on a Wendigo it could have a couple of howl based attacks and hp draining. For ability I was thinking maybe the one that makes it hail, snow cloak, or possibly a new one I thought of named "Sleet" it causes rain to also give bonuses to ice attacks

This would require me to catch a Khangaskahn. I'll be damned if I'm doing that again, the first time took me hours. I've got all the Kangaroo babies I'll ever want in Platinum. Would use Snorlax, but I used him last time.

So Eggsecutor it is. Or however that crazy palm tree is spelled.

I think Crobat is the fastest Poison type, i'n'it?
Cross Poison is a nice move, but I prefer Poison Fang for the stronger poison and added flinching.

Edit: Got the Phione from the Ranch today. Had another one within an hour. Breeding it was the first thing I did. Awesome. Not quite as interesting as a Manaphy, obviously.

He'll become a Crobat the first level up after I finish the Ruby/Sapphire plate quests. I have no doubt his friendship will be maxed well before then, but yes, Golbat is mean in the speed department.

The Battle Factory is incredibly awesome. I would normally gush about it to my best friend, who's swamped in university work lately.

I just defeated Thornton thanks to a lucky Quick Claw at the "eleventh hour".

Thanks.

I'm currently GTS trading a Shieldon for a Trapinch. I have one or two in Pearl, but not in Platinum.
I'd like to have a Flygon with Dig and Fly, because of its immunities to Thunder and Earthquake.
I like how Levitate apparently works just as well underground. :) Must be wide tunnels.
I'll probably fill the remaining slots with Draco Meteor and either Rockslide or Flamethrower, just for fun.

So, who wants a Jirachi? We get one at Gamestop Feb 27th. Hooray!

Though I have no interest in battling with Ubers, but they are nice gifts.

I would recommend Stone Edge or Fire Blast over Rock Slide and Flamethrower (especially Fire Blast over Flamethrower; Flygon needs the higher Base Power).

Jirachi is actually not an Uber (at least not on Smogon, which is the list I trust).

Some images of a fluid world.
It bothers me that the Mankey is without tail. And aren't Slugma and Magcargo in the wrong place?
Still, it's nice.

I now have a Poliwrath with Hypnosis, Belly Drum, Wake-up Slap and Hydro Pump. I haven't even raised it properly; I just wanted to try the move combination.

Arceus is coming to Sweden, but the selected stores are far away.
