Super Mario Brothers (with Duck Hunt a close second)

I was rubbish and took a long time to complete it - I'm still not very good at gaming although it's a hobby of mine. I developed a Mario Brothers obsession which carried on until I was in secondary school. I wore Mario clothes, watched Mario on TV and videotape, wrote stories about Mario's adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom, with Mario pencils (on Mario notebooks) which I kept in Mario pencil cases.

Combat on a state of the art NCR Main Frame in the mid-70's followed closely (as in later that day) by a rousing game of Pong.

While I enjoyed some NES games early in life, it was all a passing interest until I discovered Pokemon Blue at the age of six. Within the first moment, it was love, and it's been a lifelong relationship ever since.

Technically Pac Man when I was 3. But when I was 5 Mario was the first game I owned and actually appreciated.

My very first video game was one I use to watch a cartoon of and that was Darkwain Duck(I don't know if I spelled that right) I was so little and excited but never really knew how to play it well.

Nintendo was a huge one. All of our neighbors and family were obssesed with it. Mario and Luigi. I still get sentimental about it, and have been wondering if I should attempt to find it, maybe in a different game format. It brings back the happiest times for me as a child.

I have that game, the cartoon was one of my favorites.

Like many others, my first game was Super Mario Bros for NES.

I wish I could find all the parts for my NES. I want to play Contra, Double Dragon, Ninja Gaiden, Punch Out, and Werewolf: The Last Warrior again.

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for the NES in 1990, when I was 4. The result was a Mario obsession that lasted until I was 8.
