A friend of my brother has started a thing on facebook where, in the month of December, you change your profile picture to a picture of a pokemon. (And it CAN be a pokemon you invented yourself, I think) And all this talk of pokemon has gotten me re-interested in the game.

Problem is, I'm not very good at pokemon. I have had a game in each gen of pokemon, but I can never beat the Elite 4! Where is the pest place to train your pokemon after you've beaten all of the trainers? Right now the game I'm playing is Pokemon: FireRed, it's setting is the Kanto region.

Well anywhere that trains your pokemon up levels should work, but you should also take in lots of items so that your pokemon may bhe able to start over with fresh health at each battle. That means apart from level, you should also focus on the type of pokemon you have, and their moves. One can easily become cocky useing highleveld pokemon with weak moves, they can battle for a long time, but come up against an equelly stribg opponent and moves may be too weak, or have moves too strong and your pp will run out. And don't forget moves that affect status like sleep pr confusion.

What pokemon are you useing by the way, maybe what moves, and what problem are you having in the elite four.

Its not the type match-up that is the problem, and I have enough items to completly heal all of my pokemon at the end of each battle, but the problem is, My pokemon arent at high enough levels to even get through the first battle! I've raised all 6 of my team to around lvl 50 (and I got them at around lvl 5) but I feel I need to get them to lvl 60 to beat the elite 4. So, where is the best place to train them? where are the highest lvl wild pokemon found?

The highest-level Pokémon before the Elite Four are in Victory Road, the cave you go through right before you reach the Elite Four.
