So I wanted to replay Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 today. It's a game about the D-Day landings, and features Matt Baker and his squad of paratroopers.

In the languages selection I chose German, because I wanted to practise it, and because I wanted to see how they would resolve it.

You know what happens? All the American soldiers speak German, along with all the German soldiers!

Shenmue on the Dreamcast is the best. It made me laugh my arse off because the acting was SO bad! The sequel was Japanese with subtitles and I was so disappointed.

I think my brother played a game like that (chose english though). In one section of the game they did speak german & he wanted me to translate it. How am I supposed to do that when my german knowledge from HS (in 4 yrs.) is probably only 3-20 words if I'm lucky? Plus they spoke really fast in the game.

The Best Thing To Do, Get A 360, And Get A Cartoon Like Futurama or Family Guy, Which Lots Of Different Races Of People In It, And Set It Under One Language. Nothing Gets Funnier Then Imagining The Concept Of A Asian Guy In America Speaking Spanish

Because it's not meant to give you a more accurate representation, but to make it so German speaking players can understand the game.

You could probably mod the game though, depending on how mod-friendly it is.
