Apparently cancelled but was in the works and some video footage has arisen. The original 16 bit games were classics, but this seriously looks like the most rediculous footage I think I've ever seen.

You're right, I liked the series back before they decided to add powerups and stuff to it...but it still looks a lot better than the last few Road Rash games I played.

The 32-bit Road Rash was really great, too. The graphics were a little bit too "cardboard cut-out" at first, like Road Rash 3, but eventually you got used to it.

I loved road rash. The difficulty was right on, everything perfect for what it was. Now though I don't think it could stand alone as a game, more likely to be a sub game in another, like the minigames in the GTA series.

It would be awesome if it was put inside of GT or LA Noire games.

I think there is a chance it could stand on its on, but it would have to go beyond just bikes or have a really well thought out scripted game. Perhaps maybe with a great biker script with rival gangs and biker clubs and some gameplay like Eight Days/GTA/Mafia series. Maybe they could throw some gun runners, drug dealers, and other bad biker ideas into the mix as well. Controlling a town or having a network of towns and keeping it from the cops, but not always in the best of ways or the worst. It has to expand beyond just biker on biker gameplay to evolve into a new experience that people will buy. I would love to see Road Rash HD. I played one or two of those games on the Playstation and loved them back in the day. They were alot of fun.

This whole "mix it with GTA" idea sounds like something I would not like to play =/

It was cool how they had rashers chatting with you between races, and it seemed like they would get angry with you if you punched them during a race...but really, I hate when they go and try to overcomplicate things =/ It always takes the fun out of it, I just want to race.

I liked the versions for the Sega Genesis.
