Basically, share thoughts about older games.

To start off, has anyone every heard of a Sega Dreamcast game called StarLancer?
It seems really well made, seems a shame that it had gone into the depths of obscurity.

I've never owned a Dreamcast, but I used to play an RPG called Neutopia II on the TurboGrafx 16. Also a multiplayer side scrolling RPG/Adventure game called Cadash.

I think ive heard of it, as it was also out for PC at the time (i think). As far as playing it, no . . . played Crazy taxi, Techromancer, Grandia III, and Power Stone II.

Anyone remember Paperboy on the NES?

I rented that game many, many times. The whole premise was just nuts (why is the whole neighborhood out to cream you?, and why the hell am I delivering their papers, and God I hope this job includes health insurance because I just got ran over by a jeep) but definitely due for a modern remake.

Possibly a tasteless one.

If you ever see The Grim Reaper coming after you, just bonk him with a newspaper and he'll go away.

I remember the Paperboy arcade game in which you steer with bike handlebars.

There's already been a relatively recent thread on retro gaming:

Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn.

Released just as the console died, relatively very few English translations were produced. But the setting is just so rich and the story so moving that copies usually sell for about $200 on ebay. A bargain price. Anyone play it?
