I am a big fan of the Metroid series; in my endeavours, to this day I have finished Metroid and Super Metroid, and right now I'm playing Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, which I am on the verge of finishing.

Which Metroid games have you played? Did you enjoy them?

I've played all of the Metroid games, though I haven't finished the first two and still don't have the cartridge of the first one.
Apart from those two, I've beaten all of them.

Oh, and no, my username is not a Metroid Fusion reference. Seriously, I got that game in 2008.

I've gotten through every game in the Metroid series except for "Metroid Prime Pinball". I got a pretty high score on it though.

The Metroid game I liked the least was probably "Metroid Prime: Hunters" for the Nintendo DS. It was still pretty good though. I guess if the Nintendo 64 had a Metroid title it probably would have looked a lot like it.

I finished Echoes some time ago, and have tried Corruption (but never got around to finishing it). Otherwise, i started playing around Super Metroid (though not with my own system), but officially Metroid Prime was my first. After that was Fusion, then Echoes. I got Hunters for DS, but im at a level/stage where i cant get out of (damn teleporter stages). One day, i hope they make an RPG about Samus pre-suited (her being raised by the Chozo). Course it would probably be like playing Tomb Raider, but who knows . . .

I own all of them except for Pinball, and I've beaten all of them except for Hunters and Prime 3 (and Pinball).

...and I guess I don't own the Wiimakes of Prime 1 and 2, but eh.

Hunters I'm kind of mixed about...on one hand, it's a really terrible Metroid game. On the other hand, it's the best FPS available for DS. So...I guess it's still a good game?

I'm keen to get Metroid Prime Trilogy! Just as soon as Christmas rolls around. XD

Update on Metroid Prime 2: Echoes! I have beaten Emporer Ing, but I'm stuck on Dark Samus 3. As far as my circumstances go I have no hope. What is her weakness? Any tips? =S

I hear Metroid Prime Pinball is pretty hard. Is that true in your opinion?

I looked at a FAQ/walkthrough for Metroid Prime Pinball, and the guy who wrote it said he hadn't been able to finish the game yet.

I finished it some time ago, lemme see here . . . Light Cannon and Annihilator Cannon should be the only weapons you use, along with Rockets (and super rockets when ammo runs out). If you want more specifics, go to Gamefaqs (click here). Take note, she hits VERY hard, and goes through 3 phases, each of varying speed and shifting your visor modes will become the norm. Make sure you have your jump button handy as she does this blast wave that you can jump over. For more, just use the walk throughs on the linked website. It will take a few tries to get the pattern down.

Prime 2 is a pain, keep GameFAQs handy. I don't even know how many times I had to check a walkthrough to figure out a boss's weak point, or figure out where the heck I was supposed to go next :x

You are absolutely right, SabbraCadabra!
I found myself checking the walkthrough for help regarding temple keys, as well as the Caretaker Class Drone.
When it comes to finding the weakness, the Scan Visor is your friend! The logbook entry on a boss gives veritable hints as to it's weak spot. ;)

Yeah, but they're usually pretty vague on how to actually damage that weak point, which weapon to use, and when during their pattern to use it.

And then a lot of monsters change form and gain brand new weak points >_<

I got tired of dying and having to go through all the rooms and cutscenes all over again just to die trying to find the weak points a second, third, and fourth time, so I just gave up and "cheated".

SabbraCadabra: while you're right regarding the vague details, remember that they are just hinters! Figuring the rest of it is all the fun in the fight! ;)
And did you know that each seperate form of a boss has it's own logbook entry? Just scan it when it reaches a new form and you will receive dispensable information. =]
