Oh gods yes. I so miss that and other games from that time. What ever happened to Oregon Trail and Escape Velocity?

Incredible Machine was big when we were in the sixth grade. I used to play the free style mode and come up with as many ways as possible to kill the kid.

Whenever I would play it, I would just feed the kid to the crocadile a bunch of times.

I've still got my circa-1996 original Incredible Machine 3.0 CD-ROM with the full musical score (as opposed to MIDI soundtracks common at the time) and voiceovers. One of the nice things about this version was the purely functional (as opposed to "pretty") interface and the ability to create a huge playing field with a high enough screen resolution. Newer versions of the game (e.g. Contraptions) limited the playing field size.

I used to play the original game not long after it came out. It was amazing what you could fit on a single 3.5" floppy.
